Awesome people, great place to stay, and very quiet. Very reasonable priced. Highly recommended.

We noticed quite a few issues with the cleanliness of the room and immediately went to the desk to ask for a new room. When I did so, the front desk agent stated that she needed to go to room and take pictures of the areas that I was complaining about to send to her manager. When she came back she stated that because I had been in the room with my dog, they would not move us and would only give us $25 off the room. I told the kids we would just need to do some draping with the extra sheets on the pull out bed because that was one area of gross. When we returned to the room and I took off my shoes (I knew I shouldn't have) I noticed the carpet was wet. I immediately called down to the desk and the girl came up with a towel. After pressing on the carpet with the towel, the girl stated that the rooms are inspected and she didn't know what the wet brown nasty was on the carpet. She finally moved us down the hall to two rooms instead of 1 (which is why I gave an extra star) , as they did not have another room of that type available and needed the extra bed for my son. I highly doubt we will ever stay at another one of these hotels!

In some ways it feels odd giving a Courtyard Marriott five stars, but honestly for this level of…read morehotel, I can't imagine it being any better. Over the holidays we had several family Christmas's planned back to back, and decided that the best way to make it all work would be to drive to Salina on Christmas night to stay for one evening. I had some points with Marriott so when I found this location we decided it was a good one to try. I used their app, and for the first time ever did check-in remotely and got a digital key. I was glad we did because we ended up staying pretty late in Manhattan and then were hit with some freezing rain and snow on the way to Salina amounting in us not arriving until around 10 or 11pm. After we got there though, it was seamless, the key worked, check-in was easy with the app, and we found ourselves in a really clean, modern, and comfortable room. I was so grateful, especially given that it was Christmas to have a nice place to check into at the end of a busy and fun day. In the morning it was just as easy to head out the door and onto the rest of our holiday festivities. We have a lot of family in central Kansas so I remarked to my husband that this might be our go-to hotel for next time we need a quick place to stay while in the area. Bottom line - this is a very solid choice in Salina. Clean, comfortable, easy to get in and out.

After some time researching the problem she said that the employee working earlier had checked "us" in earlier in the day. Turns out they gave our room away to someone else under our reservation!!! After too much time she ended up giving us the other guest's room. As for the room we got it is an accessible room, so it is large and had 2 queen bes instead of a king as purchased. The room was very nice, but the mix up was a bummer considering it was very hot outside as I waited 20 minutes for my partner to return.

I stayed at this place in 2017, and obviously liked it enough to visit it again 6 years later. The…read morebiggest reason I like this is that it is much more than I would normally expect for the price. For the most part, the property is what you would expect out of a 1-2 star hotel. Window A/C and Heat unit that is loud and either roasts or freezes you if you run it for too long. No amenities, but everything is very clean. The place really has a DIY vibe to it. Most cheap hotels, they have one of about 3 designs on their sheets, which may or may not be old enough to vote. The beds and sheets here are more like you're staying in someone's spare room. The room also had a small fridge and microwave, big Visio tv, and a table built into a cubby in the wall. Not really sure that all the cords from the various outlets are up to code, but the place is fine for a 1 night stay. However, you're probably not going to want more than 1-2 people in the room. It's going to be too cramped of quarters otherwise.

Honestly, I won't be able to give a very detailed review because we only slept here for a couple hours and then left at 7 amin the morning! However, from my little experience from here, I did enjoy this stay to say the least. Hotel & Rooms (first impressions) - The hotel and room/bathroom were very clean, the bed was very comfortable. There was even a microwave inside the bedroom, which is usually not the case where I have stayed before. Even though I booked this hotel room at 8 pm before we got there at 1030 pm, I still got a decent rate of $140 for that night, which was ok because all the other ones in the area had a much higher rate going on. As soon as we entered the hotel, it was well lit and the staff at the front desk greeted us. I did feel the lady could've smiled a little more but she still got the work done so I do not have any complaints haha. I hope the hotel instructs the staff to smile a little when the guests arrive for checkin or checkouts. As soon as the front desk, staff finished checking us in, we were told about the breakfast (for $8 per person which we did not end up having),the snacks purchase area, pool and fitness center. Improvements - I had read some reviews before which said the bathroom is slippery and I did experience that after having a bath in the morning. I think for younger folks it should not be an issue, but yes, they should take into consideration some anti-skid coating or mats for the older folks or else it might be extremely dangerous for them. I did see some tapes on the shower floor but they were kind of worn out and didn't really help much. It was still very slippery. Also, I think for $140 a night they should be including breakfast with the room tariff because I heard that the breakfast is pretty basic with egg, sausages, cereal, toast, juices, tea, coffee, so pretty similar to all the other hotels have to offer. Overall, this experience was a good four out of five for me, and I am glad that I stopped at this hotel for a good nights rest.
