I thought the way pre-booking works is that Beck Taxi will find a wheelchair accessible van IN ADVANCE and be there at 9:30am. SURPRISE! NO, THAT'S NOT HOW IT WORKS! They'll call to see if there's one available starting at 9:30am pick-up time. I talked to their representatives over the phone 3 times and there's still no resolution that I had to cancel. The last representative I spoke to even blamed me for not booking via the operator when I mentioned that there's no point in pre-booking. Yes, pre-booking is pretty much useless.

I've used them to go from my house to the ferry docks a few times and they always do it as quick as possible, resulting in an easy, fast and cheap ride. My bill is always cheaper ( by a few dollars) when I use Royal Taxi. Their cabs also seem to be cleaner than most, smell better as well. Not much else to say, I try to use Royal Taxi whenever I need a cab.

It was very frustrating. The cab drivers had to phone me and were very late. The first time they messed up I was with an elderly neighbour and we had to wait for a long time. The second time I had just had surgery and he sent the cab to a mall instead of the address I specifically gave. The third time the cab did not show up because he had given the wrong pick up address. I was very clear and polite on the phone and the dispatcher was rude and dismissive. All the cab drivers have been very pleasant so I will give this company one more chance.
