We experienced absolutely the best customer service and the most beautiful blinds from this local business.
We had a new large picture window installed in our living room. It wasn't a candidate for diy blinds or any kind of curtain. We went to the Ambassador showroom and got a great overview of what was available. There is a wide choice of styles - manual or electric, fabrics, sized (we were only interested in cellular shades and there are different cell sizes). It was almost overwhelming.
The salesroom was staffed by a very knowledgeable fellow who showed us pretty much everything. And told us about how they worked and the advantages of each style. He did not pressure us in any way. It was like having a friend tell you all the pros and cons - I didn't feel "sold to".
We set up an appointment to have the window measured and to choose fabrics and style of cellular shade.
We were so impressed first with the promptness and then the friendly helpfulness of the appointment. I am so used to having to wait and then to be rushed.
We got a lot of help with the choices that we ended up making. I, in particular, have a hard time deciding on colors. And, had I chosen in the showroom I probably would have chosen poorly. The blinds we got really work well with our walls.
They were made by Hunter Douglas in a few weeks. And we were kept informed of the progress all during that time.
The installation - again very prompt - was wonderful. They got the blinds up quickly but then took their time walking us through how they work (we got the power option so we can use a phone app and/or a remote control).
We couldn't have been more pleased or excited by the whole process. And - to top it off, they filled out the paperwork for the Xcel energy saving paperwork for a rebate (with the exception of our personal info) - that saved us a lot of work.
