My husband and I had a couple Massage at PleasanTree Spa…read moretoday and it was phenomenal! My husband has never had a massage before, and he's been having a great deal of lower back hip and leg pain. I don't know ladies names that worked on us but they were fantastic. My husband left there with a smile on his face and walking a lot straighter. We both felt years younger. Super nice place and very affordable cannot say enough about the staff and the excellent service they provide.

My wife and I randomly found PleasanTree Spa & Massage on Chat GPT today because we just wanted a…read morequick massage--and honestly, oh my God, this may be the best massage place we've ever been to! We both suffer from sciatica and have been dealing with it for months. Nobody has been able to give us any real relief, but Ada worked on both of us and we walked out feeling like brand-new people. She knew exactly what she was doing and somehow managed to tackle pain that had been hanging around for months. Absolute miracle worker! The pricing was also surprisingly affordable compared to most massage places, especially considering the quality of the treatment. From the moment we walked in, they treated us like family, explained everything clearly and made the entire experience comfortable and relaxing. We are so happy we found this hidden gem and will definitely be back. Three thumbs up and five stars from us. Highly recommend!

We were two couples that were renting a house in Asheville for the weekend, and wanted to book two…read morecouple massages in-house. We ended up choosing Gabriella because of her tremendous Yelp rating. She was prompt at returning my call, and suggested a few dates/times that would work. The day of, she and her coworker showed up right on time. They set up withing a few mins, and got things underway. Both therapists were attentive to individual needs, periodically checking in to ensure proper pressure, etc. My sister-in-law and I had Gabriella, and I can honestly say, this was one of the best massages either of us had ever gotten. She clearly knows her craft. I highly recommend Gabriella the next time you find yourself in Asheville. We will most certainly be using her again next year when we are back.

I purchased a massage here for my wife and expected her to come home raving about it…read more Unfortunately, that was not the case. During the entire session, the massage therapist repeatedly pulled and twisted my wife's shoulder in a way that caused significant pain and discomfort. We have both had many professional massages over the years and have never experienced anything like this. What's most concerning is that more than a month later, her shoulder is still causing her significant pain. The issue has become serious enough that she is now undergoing an MRI because she believes something may have been injured during the session. While we cannot say with certainty what the MRI will show, the timing and circumstances are extremely concerning. Based on our experience, I would urge others to exercise caution and make sure they communicate clearly with the therapist if anything feels uncomfortable or painful during treatment.

I had my first massage almost 50 years ago. It was a body and mind altering experience. Since…read morethen, I've continued with massages occasionally, mainly holding back because of the expense. About 20 years ago, I had another deeply moving, deeply affective massage experience. But generally the massages I have experienced along the way and through the years have been soothing, but quite short of amazing. Most seem to follow a prescribed sequence. Then I came to Shelly upon the recommendation of a physical therapist I was seeing following an accident that required surgery and left me with months of bodily trauma. She provided me with so much relief emotionally and physically after many months of moving through the medical system. She certainly is the best massage therapist I've experienced in this area...even in the US. Each session is like a new journey; I never know where her remarkable hands will do their work, but the results are blissful. My appointments with her are such a highlight!
