We got into Barrie a bit later than expected, and we're very hungry. This place was right next to the hotel, open and still serving. And I love Indian food, so if course there was little reason to not try them.
The service was a little scattered, but that's okay, it late on a Friday night. It took a little longer than I would have liked, but again I was very hungry and it was late.
The food. Okay, I had the chicken Seekh kebabs. They were alright, but much sweeter than I am used to. It was kind of a surprise, and not an entirely welcome one. I also had chili paneer, because I'm a sucker for a good fusion dish. The paneer was great, but I ordered it extra spicy and it was really not. At all. It wasn't even medium. Kind of sweet, and rather passive on the heat. The biryani rice wasn't bad. But it wasn't great either. Overall it was a mid experience.
I would have rated them a little higher, but the price was a bit heftier then the food that was provided. I didn't hate it, I'm glad they were open, but I won't exactly be back next time I'm in Barrie read more
