There's a daily menu that includes a side salad or soup, delicious home made bread, main dish and dessert. All for a reasonable price and a local ambiance that hasn't changed for decades. I'm vegetarian and I love their salads and their veggie empanadas. You can always get a plate of rice and salads of your choice as a modified menu. Servers are very friendly and food is great. I can't recommend the vegetarian empanadas enough: Cheese, Veggies, or Mushrooms with cheese.

They reopened to sell us a half dozen meat empanadas and a half dozen cheese. They weren't cheap, $18,000 pesos ($26 bucks), but we had to have them. The pino (meat) is super tender steak. The texture could have been a little bit juicier, but we had taken them home and reheated, so I recommend trying them right there. The dough was tender, but not greasy or flaky and rolled super thin. They have several cheese options: plain, with olives or with tomatoes, we tried them all and like the tomato the best. They have limited seating, all outside, as it looks to be the owner's home. If your in Santiago and like locals' faves that are off the beaten path, you gotta go!

The bakery location is off one of the main streets, there's not much ambience and the chairs are metal material so not much to lounge on for an enjoyable lunch/snack. Reading prior reviews I picked up on the customer service, they are not the friendliest just very business like, place your order, pay, sit and get out. I think they have a heavy catering section and make their dollars there. I happy to say that they did have a variety of empanadas to choose from and they also had a "grab and go" section. Not sure what their pricing is for these grab containers but I'm sure if you worked around the area this bakery could be convenient for lunch. The empanadas were nice but there's more options to choose from.

Nice ambiance at the bakery with outdoor seating and a patio upstairs. Good service. The bakery also had a bunch of divine looking pastries and cakes. Highly recommend going here
