Ordering also was pretty convenient since we just ordered from their iPad with their mobile application installed in it. It was like ordering online, but better and we get to see the total bill right away. They have already launched their mobile applications downloadable from the Google Play store and the Apple App store that is entirely free. This is so customers can just eat upon arriving and there will no longer be conflicts on payments. We dined here for lunch and we had an exquisite food experience. For drinks, we had their Calamansi Vanilla and Cinnamon Iced Tea. They served a complimentary appetizer which was garlic bread with three kinds of dips: garlic puree, balsamic caramel, and smoked fish tapenade. Meanwhile, for our food, we had fresh mozzarella and grilled sweet bell pepper salad with toasted citrus dressing and roasted rib eye a la "blanquette" with sauteed parsley rice. All those were solo servings since it was already good enough for the two of us. For desserts, we had their trio of homemade ice cream consisting of gingerbread ice cream, rose ice cream and salted caramel ice cream. The Rib Shack is currently one of my favorites because of two things: first, they're conveniently located just five minutes away from my in-laws' place and second, they serve ribs and wings. The place is quite family-friendly. They have high chairs and toys you can borrow to keep the kids entertained, but they're also quite barkada friendly by night, with their wide choices of drinks. Their ribs is obviously the star of the show and I love that their full rack is only at P800+ (order the It's Complicated Set, it comes with three side dishes) but in my Kuya's words when describing something that doesn't live up to his expectations, it's "payat." The slab is huge and oozing with flavor, but the ribs aren't quite as meaty as I expected. Their Buffalo Wings would have to be the scene stealer though. It's really good! Meaty and flavorful, we barely touched the bleu cheese dip that went with it. And that's saying a lot, if you know how much I love my bleu cheese. The price range isn't your typical friendly neighborhood restaurant, but their servings are big and their food is promising, so sulit pa rin. Check out this place when you're in my part of the south.

The ramen lovers can rejoice, as there are several versions of ramen here. The Sumo Sam menu is quite extensive, actually. From appetizers to desserts (cheesecakes, anyone?), fresh to fried, there's something here for everyone. True to its name, the serving sizes here are huge, so bring your big appetites. Enjoy!
