I had to wait three months to get in, but even though I was completely stressed out, the wait was worth it. I walked in with a friend who would help take notes and felt immediately at ease. Dr. Weinert read through all my documentation and determined that I did not need to go down that road because, frankly, it was not necessary. She explained things, without leaving anything out, and in a manner that I could understand; even going so far as to draw a diagram. This was great because I am a very visual person. She spent over an hour with me...unheard of these days. I am forever grateful that she was able to see me and help me with my issues. The bottom line is that she said we could treat my issue without being invasive to my body. I literally went home and wept for joy. My family and I are so relieved. Not only was I left in horrific pain, but I woke up to a puddle of my blood on the floor with a golf ball like mass sticking out of my incision. She opened me back up in the recovery room while the nurse gave me Valium and morphine, what seemed like triple of what they should have been giving me. My friends watched in horror. After the procedure I needed paperwork in order to withdrawal from classes for the semester as I couldn't even walk from the amount of pain I was in. Julie wrote "no complications. Lost less than 100 mL of blood". After I reviewed my blood work, I discovered that I lost almost a liter of blood. I almost needed a transfusion. This woman should never be allowed I touch another human being. Oh and before all of this, she made me wait in pre op for 10 hours before she canceled my surgery because "she had to watch her niece". The hospital gave me a $25 gift card for the inconvenience. If you're ever needing medical attention, go elsewhere!

I have always felt comfortable and genuinely cared for at Women's OB/GYN & be-YOU-tiful Med Spa. It was SUCCESSFUL and I am so happy with the care and plan that Dr. Kurss made for my partner and I. I had never met Dr. Kurss prior to being sent to him by my birth team. Due to baby being breech I wanted to opt for a safe option before scheduling a C section. Before the procedure I was able to meet with Dr. Kurss and discuss everything in detail, any concerns I had and questions. He ensured I was confident with the plan and we decided to go forward. I felt very comfortable , heard and respected. His explanations were thorough and to the point where I was able to get the exact answers I needed (this entire pregnancy I've been given so many "grey area" hit or miss answers by other providers that the way Dr. Kurss explained things was seriously appreciated). I was very happy that he went over my medical chart, talked about all different options and understood exactly what would be best for myself and baby. Day of procedure for ECV I was greeted (without even checking in myself!) within moments of entering the hospital. Once admitted, seen by Dr. Kurss and we discussed the plan again, double checked babies position and were ready to go. Myself and baby were monitored from the moment I got in that hospital bed to a couple hours after the procedure to ensure we were safe and healthy. Dr. Kurss had his partner help with the ECV and my baby was moved within SECONDS. They went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable (and my partner!) and the amount of relief I felt after the procedure was done was like no other. My partner and I are so grateful for Dr. Kurss and his team. I felt safe and cared for and the level of expertise made me feel confident I was in good hands. We had a gap insurance for my daughter and came here for a check up. $220 for the visit, it took 45 minutes to be seen and the front desk is run by young folks who really seem like they could care less. We told them we were cash pay and we were offered (and declined) a $140 breathing treatment (not their fault we are cash pay) and they phoned in a prescription. When we went to pick up the two inhalers we were told it would be $1100 for the two. We called the Urgent care facility and gave them the feedback and had to borrow a friend's inhaler. One week later we received a phone call from the pharmacy asking if we wanted to pick up her new, $48 inhalers. This system is broken if the true cost is $48 but the insurance cost is $550. Why did the Urgent Care facility call in the cash pay Rx knowing we were cash pay and had just turned down their breathing treatment? Why did the Urgent Care return our call to tell us they had phoned in a new Rx? This place definitely has a turn and burn vibe which is disappointing (both doctor and staff) when a sick child is involved. They didn't even give me any kind of idea what could be happening.
