As my wife is from India and we travel extensively, we constantly search for Indian food around the world. Simply put, this is the finest Indian food we have had anywhere outside of India! The food is authentic and freshly prepared with the perfect mixtures of spices. Oil was used sparingly as opposed to many restaurants that drown some dishes in it. The food quality was outstanding. The lamb was succulent (more tender and tastier than any I've had in India). We live right around the corner from Amala and walk by frequently. We're always greeted with friendly smiles and hellos. We went back for the third time last night and had a wonderful meal. My chicken madras was cooked perfectly and my husband loved his mixed grill. The wine selection was fab and reasonably priced. We have not had the opportunity to eat an Indian meal for some time & this restaurant was, quite simply, SUPERB! The food was beautifully cooked, sensitively spiced & well presented. We had heard of its quality & we were delighted to have been able to have a table without pre-booking.
