My parents are finally open to having some light housekeeping done, and I can see a need for more services in the coming months and years so I was very interested in the flexible range of services 'Right at Home' offers. I gave them a call a few days ago, actually got the director on the phone, and she was great. I was already sold on giving them a try (parents have final say how much help and when of course). ... then, same day, one of my parents had an acute situation- sent home from Urgent Care after a number of scans and tests with directions to do things that I felt totally unprepared/unequipped to do. I was overwhelmed (not just by this, but also by the fact that the 'other' parent had just been released from the hospital and I am the only caregiver). I called R@H just out of desperation not really expecting much more than a possible lead... but they had been so kind. Long story short, within a little over an hour, they had rearranged schedules and had a wonderful RN at my parents' home who helped us through this current 'crisis', and taught me how to handle it going forward. This was exactly what my parent needed in that moment - and, frankly, what I needed... I can't thank them enough. As my parents warm to more assistance, I absolutely am calling Right at Home - Hopefully ASAP!

After going through a time when I spent most of my day sitting down, I started experiencing a lot of lower back pain. It hasn't gone away ever since even though I don't sit as much anymore. Recently, I must have slept funny or something because I woke up with intense neck pain. My entire neck hurt and I had limited mobility. After mentioning it to my friend, he told me about a Groupon he had just bought for a chiropractic package for $35. I looked into it and it was such a great deal! It included the initial consultation and x-ray, two adjustments, AND an hour massage. I bought it over the weekend and it was actually $25 since they were running a special that day. I called to make the appointment and the staff was super friendly. I love that they have late appointments (5pm) so I don't have to ask off work or anything. Once there, despite it being super busy, the staff was helpful and fast. They have you fill out a questionnaire. Dr. Kasbaum was great explaining the X-ray to me and answering all my silly questions. While you wait, they hook you up to these electrical pads for muscle stimulation. It's tingly and fun! The adjustment felt SO great! I'm pretty sure every bone in my neck popped. It did not hurt at all and all my pain went away! I kept feeling like I would somehow mess it up afterwards. The pain and discomfort I was experiencing has completely vanished, only after one session! Can't wait to go back. Service was super quick too. Now let me tell you about the massage. BEST EVER! It had been a while since I got one and it reminded me why everyone needs them in their life. Telisha was so attentive and just wonderful all around. Most calm and relaxing moment I've had in a while. I felt stress-free walking out. Buy the Groupon before it's over!!!

I just want to be heard…read more I gave everything I had as a caregiver with Amada Senior Care Tulsa Oklahoma-- 40-60 hour weeks, full dedication, and love for the families I cared for. I spoke up for their safety, asking again and again that only trained caregivers be sent. Instead of support, I was ignored and then punished. After June 16th, I was completely cut off. My hours were taken; i was told repeatedly there was no work to be had from june20th until july3rd. I was removed from AXIScare (so I couldn't even see shifts) and taken off COAChUp -- the portal that was supposed to recognize and uplift employees. My supervisor told me he was the "highest level" and that I could "only talk to him -- not HR, not scheduling, not anyone else." I was left isolated, erased, and voiceless. Amada talks about God, family, grace, and Agape love. But I never experienced that. What I experienced was retaliation, abandonment, and hurt. I can't afford an attorney, and no one seems able to help me, but I refuse to stay silent. I want people to know the truth of how caregivers can be treated behind the scenes. If you want to know more, message me. the one star is for the in-house staff that treated me very badly. My supervisor, Hr. I tried to let the CEO know but never got a response from him...

Which is something I think they should have informed me about BEFORE orientation. Then while trying to complete the onboarding process there was some paperwork I didn't know how to fill out & asked them about it more than twice, never getting an answer. They were supposed to be paying me $14 an hour, but after taxes & what they took I was only making $11. They don'y pay milage, unless you drive more then 15 miles FROM THEIR OFFICE, NOT your point of origination. Which is crap cuz some of these jobs are pretty far from my house. I worked an extra half hour going over & above for a client, but since they don't pay overtime, I got jipped for that extra time. Last week I informed them I couldn't work a specific shift anymore cuz I had a conflict, I gave them a weeks notice but yesterday noticed I was still on the schedule for today. Well, since I didn't want to inconvenience anyone else I went to that shift. Only to find when I get there that the client is in the hospital, which no one informed me about. Apparently I was supposed to go to the hospital, which again, NO ONE ever informed me that's what we are to do. Then I got reprimanded for not being where I was supposed to be & for not communicating with them (which I tried to do, but NO ONE EVER answers the phone over there) which we would not even had been in that situation if they had just communicated w/ me.
