Later the same day, I received a call from Liz, who handled all the details and took care of communication with the auto insurance agency. Liz did a great job, very nice, and friendly. It was great actually talking with a person and not being put on hold. Our daughter-in-law was extremely pleased when she saw her car, looked great! They were even able to get the work done a lot sooner than what we were first told, amazing! This is a family run business, and you can tell that they truly care about their customers. The job - the bumper matching color was really great - though the car was returned with dust on the seats and overspray on the back windows. Somehow inside the dark tint. They tried to clean it, got better, but it was still there. The (faulty) sensors - short story: I went back there 3 times plus 2 times to a Subaru dealer, who said - "they did a poor job here - one sensor not working and 3 of the 4 holders crooked." This after having to pay $180 dollars for Subaru's diagnostics, and around $700 to fix it, which State Farm agreed to cover the majority while I'd pay $163 dollars. The verdict: - Great paint job (customer service too) - Headache, wasted time/gas & stress for a half-done job - Extra 850 dollars (on top of my 1k deductible) - Using my insurance again to cover their half-done job - A dusty car with overspray on the back window

I chose this shop because my insurance highly recommended them for a minor dent repair. Communication was extremely poor from the start. My car sat for over 24 hours before they even completed the estimate, and after dropping it off for repairs, I repeatedly had to call for updates. I was told multiple times that my car was simply waiting to be painted, despite it sitting there for nearly a week with no progress. When I expressed my concerns, the estimator Chris, essentially brushed them off, saying they had too many cars. My take on this is if you are over scheduled or just bad at scheduling do not take on additional work! Having my car and I'm sure many others just sit there for 5+ business days is unacceptable. My car took longer to get painted than it did for the actual repair! After escalating the situation through my insurance, the owner contacted me directly, apologized, expedited the repair, and waived my deductible. I genuinely appreciated his response and professionalism. Unfortunately, the experience with the rest of the staff was very different. When I picked up my car, it had not been cleaned as promised, and there was visible dirt on the interior, residue on the inside of the door, and tar/black adhesive on a tire. The estimator, Chris, who had previously dismissed my concerns did not acknowledged me at pickup, did not ask if I had any questions or concerns, and did not even look at me while returning my car back. Not sure if this is because I'm a women or because I complained. I strongly recommend taking your car somewhere else, even if your insurance recommends this shop. The owner clearly cared about making things right, but the overall communication, customer service, and handling of my repair were extremely disappointing.

When I went back they had the cops waiting for me and when I went in I got kicked out it before even getting to talk to the manager. We went above them and started a dispute and got the money back since it was absolutely all of their fault and crappy business practice. It looked great as if nothing ever happened.

A month passed and the insurance received nothing from Caliber, called caliber and spoke to the guy that inspected the car and asked him if he sent it to the insurance and he said that he guesses he didn't, I told him they expected that a month ago to what he proceeded to reply: I am not gonna be assisting you with committing fraud" to which I replied I only came back per the insurance's request and asked him to repeat what he said, he avoided it. Told him I wouldn't continue dealing with Caliber, hung up. This was back in March and we are not in May. That same day I called their HQ and they responded saying management would contact me but to this day I have received no response. Avoid this place, is not worth it.

I called as instructed and the aforementioned young man brusquely and unsympathetically told me Caliber does not work on totaled cars, "you'll have to call a small mom and pop shop." I asked for a recommendation and he refused. Very displeased with this experience and will never return to this location, or likely Caliber in general, again.
