They kept replying, with a text message that they were running late. Then, it was....their prior appointment was taking longer than usual...they'd be here within the hour...excuse after excuse. I complained and their response was...we were given a four hour "window" for arrival, which was not true. The technician made the appointment for noon and said the project would take approximately two hours to complete. Hence, the noon-2 pm appointment. They literally expect you to sit around and wait for them. Like take a half of day off of work??, or out of your schedule?? because THEY mismanaged their time? On another note, it was $380 to clean slime out of ONE bathroom sink drain!! Yes, I said $380. Shop around or DIY because they are gouging you!! We cancelled our appointment, after waiting an hour and a half! There ARE honest plumbers, in Sioux Falls, SD, but this franchise/company completely missed the mark...and the pricing...YIKES!!! Beware.

Jer called a few times about this estimate and eventually revised it. I did not accept Jer's bid. I ultimately went with a different service provider. When Jer learned I was not going with him, he offered me $100 for a copy of the quote I accepted, as well as photos of the finished work. I did not immediately agree to this, as it was very off-putting. Jer then threatened to have his lawyer call me, and was extremely unprofessional over the phone, using profanities, threatening to sue me and attempting to intimidate me. I am very glad I did not choose Jer.

They came out to tell us the part they installed was bad and charged us for this 2nd visit ..then when they didn't have the part (still under warranty) on them and it would be about 2 weeks to get it they told us they would be charging us for a 3rd visit then when they came back to install it (all stemming from our original complaint). When we tried to work this out with them they weren't willing to meet in the middle on anything. So they got over $200 and we still don't have a fully working water heater. They say they are committed to providing excellent service and 1st time resolution..don't be fooled.

It never occurred to me to check services we had in Maryland such as Angie List and Thumbtack. As a result, I stumbled upon "All Around Handyman." Upon accessing Yelp and detailing the services I needed. I was pleasantly surprised by an immediate response from the owner/operator of All Around Handyman, who requested that I select and schedule a date and time on his calendar which I did. Chad arrived ten-minutes early with a big smile on his face. I found him to be knowledgeable, professional, and respectful. As well as a very resourceful handyman. It was refreshing to meet a friendly handyman with a downhome attitude who shares a similar outdoor lifestyle as I. I hadn't laughed so much as a resident of Sioux Falls. Chad was precise as he measured, eyed, marked and hung a 3-piece Glass Wall Sconce Set on wall behind dining room table. Also, hung pictures on walls behind/above living room couch, the fireplace, office desk and bedroom headboard. Placement of these pictures made the apartment more attractive with a homey vibe. Now Chad is my go-to person for apartment services.
