This was a Fairly sudden issue with our air conditioner, I was out of town so my wife would have to deal this. Called AM Mechanical they came over the next day. This was in early June 2017 AM Mechanical was contacted to replace or repair an air conditioner/heater unit at my apartment in Fort Lauderdale. This unit used water and was on the 10th floor building. After they came over and check it out it was decided to replace the whole unit. I was out of town and my wife was there to handle everything, I was uncomfortable with this but AM Mechanical put my mind at ease and promised to explain the new system to my wife. We hired another company to replace our A/C Unit. They did a horrible job. Fortunately, our neighbor recommended us AM Mechanical. AM Mechanical is a family owned business. Not only they came on time and gave us a straightforward information on how the job should look like; they did a fantastic job! We have a 2-year-old child, so we couldn't be for too long without A/C. During my last move to TX, I had horrible experiences with HVAC companies never fixing the problem with my AC system and trying to scam me by telling me I needed a whole new system - it took me 4 tries before I found a gem of a company. I moved to FL in August and this past week started having problems with my AC not cooling the house down. I called AM Mechanical - the first company I called; and they're wonderful! I couldn't stand the heat in the house any longer and called them this morning. An hour later, they were here! Wonderful service, honest, informative, found my problem quickly and reasonably priced. I didn't have service on my AC for about a year or more and I was a little concerned I called them up and they came out the next day check my AC could've told me anything was wrong with it and just said I needed Freon. They are so honest I have been using them for several years. I would recommend them to anybody that needs an AC specialist. Then I spoke to them about a new hot water heater because mine was 11 years old they gave me the best price than anybody else I know and they got me the best water heater. Sebastian and his dad came 3 days later hooked it up was out of my house within two hours cleaned up and checked on me to make sure it was good the next day which service companies do not do that. AM Mechanical, LLC...This company is awesome. A father/son team who is responsive and extremely reliable. I don't know how long ago the previous owners of my home had performed any kind of maintenance on the a/c system, but AM came in took pictures and showed me how disgusting the coils were. I made an appointment with them and they came out and started working. When Mark came in with the coil unit, it looked brand new. He also fixed some problems with the initial installation and it all looks great and clean. Additionally, he provided lots of information on maintenance and care which was very helpful. AM MECHANICAL CAME HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!... and we appreciate the service that Marek provided in installing our new central air conditioning! He explained a modification to the ductwork for better air flow with less bends in the original and 50 year old design. He, also, installed a larger, 3 ton air handler to go with our 2.5 ton condenser to better flow the air throughout our one story home, while saving us money! We had the large "family" owned companies come out but they fell short in their recommendations and the sales follow-up was on the poor side. We had other companies come out but they were pricey for the same Rheem quality unit that we trusted and which Marek installed at a better price. We are thankful for the recommendation. They just finished revamping my ac units. They installed Hepa filters, UV lights, and the Reme Halo. They cleaned our units and replaced one of the air handlers. This is the company you want use if you want your job done correctly, professionally and quickly. They were honest and affordable- Top Notch Quality Service- and very caring about our air quality. I will not risk using any other company. I'm a very picky about work done around my house. ( I can't tell you how much stuff was rigged and done poorly or incorrectly in our previous AC installation to only lead to bad air quality in our house down the road). The very next day they installed a brand new AC and completely reconstructed the entire area where our nasty old AC was located. They even had to add all new copper wiring and were very reasonably priced. They completed the project so professionally and did an excellent job explaining our new Nest thermostat. My mother's air conditioner died and AM Mechanical was able to come out the same day to check it. It was determined that she needed a new air conditioner. They quoted her a good price and were able to schedule to come out the next day to replace her air handler. Which is awesome because she is 90 years old. AM Mechanical did a great job installing my new AC unit. They converted it from a 4T package unit to a 5T split system locating the condenser/compressor outside where the old unit was and installing the air handler in a closet inside a guest bedroom. Extremely neat and clean and very organized. Also checked all duct work and made some small repairs. All in all, much better air flow and house stays a much more constant, cooler temperature with a lower electric bill. read more
