I was seen by Dr. Mordecai Lightman. I must say, I had some anxiety going into my dental appointment because I hadn't been as on top of my flossing as I should have been. I have been trying to rectify that and reestablish that as a habit, but I was still nervous about what they would say when I arrived. I had even pushed back my appointment once or twice as a result. Thankfully, that anxiety and dread was unfounded. Dr. Lightman was SO kind and nonjudgmental. He really took his time on my teeth, was very gentle, explained every aspect of my care, and even took the time to double check that I knew how to floss correctly and showed me how flossing should feel like. He was a delight to chat with as well! I am sad that he's generally retired and only picks up here and there. He's a true gem of a human and a gift to the practice. Him and his assistant stayed till 7:30 pm to ensure I had a crown that day. He had a bunch of other work and STILL made time to take care of me.
