I love that she's holistic which is why I chose to go to her for my children. She is on the up and up with both modern medicine and natural medicine allowing you, the patient to find the balance you want. Kayla her medical assistant is equally hard working, has wonderful energy and is very thorough. I highly recommend Dr. Freedman's practice- her and her staff get to the bottom of things and are excellent!!!

When we received a letter from him that he was…read moreretiring I said to my husband we will try the new doctor that he suggested us to see when he retired. That doctor was Dr Costabile. I now see Dr Costabile, my husband sees him and my son who is mentally challenged sees him. We were all once Dr. Lawler's patients. I never thought we would find someone as good, kind and caring as Dr. Lawler. We had our first visit. I was immediately impressed. I never saw Dr Costabile before that that day.. I was amazed at how he was aware of my health history, listened to me and my concerns. He must have reviewed my complete medical files. He talks as if he had known me and been my Dr for years! He never hesitates when he thinks I need an x-ray or MRI or anything extra. As I said, my son is mentally challenged. At times he can be a bit much. He doesn't like change but he was very comfortable with Dr Costabile. He is very good with him very empathetic and understanding. I would highly recommend Dr Costabile to anyone. I had thought that if I didn't like the new doctor, I would switch to someone near where I live, we used to live in KOP. We now live in Lansdale so it's a little drive for us however , I was so impressed with Dr Costabile. We decided to stay with him. The ride is well worth it. I can't say enough about how wonderful Dr Costabile is. I so appreciate his professionalism knowledge and kindness. Also the staff there is amazing. Very welcoming and helpful!

Dr. Lucy is great! She provides great care without compromising what she believes in. She also makes science based recommendations instead of following the newest fads, so she probably won't agree with the latest Dr. Oz diet or believe the "I cured my cancer with diet and exercise alone" stories. She does have a great sense of humor, and will make you feel at ease in the most awkward conversations. I love that I can email her a question and get a response usually within 24hrs, and she doesn't make me feel dumb for asking ridiculous questions. She uses an online patient records portal so I can keep track of test results and make appointments online. She can usually do same day appointments too if you you give her a call. If you need blood work she takes it herself right there in the office, so no need to wait in line at the phlebotomist office. She usually has a "wait it out" approach if she doesn't think an issue is terribly urgent, which could be off putting to some people, but I think this approach makes me feel like she is putting my needs ahead of her bank account. So far she has been right! She is a blogger (https://dinosaurmusings.wordpress.com/about/) and a writer, so you can check out some her "musings" and decide if she sounds like someone you would want to be your doctor. If you don't understand/like her sense of humor, or disagree with her philosophy, she might not be right for you. She is always warm and polite, but direct when she has something important to say...and then frequently follows up with a joke. I think she is awesome, but I could see how some people might not appreciate her. She is who she is...never change Dr. Lucy!

So I was literally in tears from anxiety when I came in for this one (third and hopefully last ever!) First, Dr. Salva calmed me down and reminded me I could still back out if I wanted to, which I really appreciate. She was so caring but still totally professional, and was able to get it in whole keeping me relaxed as possible. There are no words to describe the world of difference in the way Dr. Salva placed this IUD. I'm still in shock that it wasn't the horrific pain I was anticipating because of the other experiences. Such a wonderful doctor, and a huge relief to have found her. Highly recommend.

I had to have a procedure and she gave me the option of the operating room or in office. She clearly explained both options and let me make the decision myself. I ultimately decided to have it done in the office and she was very patient with my last minute questions and her and Jennifer checked in throughout to make sure I was ok. They also called the next morning to check in on me. Going to Penn in itself has its positives and negatives you know you are going to a large network with well known doctors but it can be hard to get in touch. I recommend using the patient portal to send messages you get quicker answers and if you ask for a call that can help if you want to speak to someone. Once I knew I had to have the procedure and had their info and knew who to ask for it was much easier to get answers. I would recommend Dr Salva to anyone looking for a new doctor!
