I have been sending my daughter to daycare since she was 6 months old. Sherry and Camille are amazing and they provide a variety of activities to keep the kids engaged. I would highly recommend this daycare. read more

My daughter has been attending this daycare for a little more than a year now. She started at about 18mo and only could speak two words and can now speak sentences thanks to the teachers and fellow kids! Through the amazing help of Ms. Sherry and her daughter Camille, they tag team to help these kids with daily play both indoors and outdoors, morning circle time with learning songs, numbers, alphabet and many more things to prepare these kiddos for a love of learning! The kids do daily crafts of drawing, glueing, painting, stickers, and all sorts of activities that help their fine motor skills. I love the daily pictures at lunch time on the app so I can ask questions about her day. My daughter loves Ms. Sherry's family dogs too, the dogs are extremely calm, well trained, and usually just chill on a chair watching the kids. read more

Exceptionally well run day care - My daughter loves it and have been going in for 2+ years

Amazing daycare! I send both kids there and they love it. The best thing is that you can tell that Sherry and Camille are doing this with love. They love the kids, and that's the most important thing as a parent to feel comfortable sending your kids there :) read more

Summary: The most caring and affordable daycare you will ever have! We explored a couple of day cares, but after just one tour with our daughter at Always Smiling Daycare we were very sure our daughter would love it! During the tour we got to know Sherry and Camille and our daughter also got to get comfortable with them before going there officially. Our daughter loved their backyard! There are so many things do to in the backyard compared to a playground! It is like those indoor playgrounds you see with so many areas for your child to explore and play in! Our daughter loves being outdoors so we knew having a place like a backyard play area would be what she needs! Also they rotate out new play structures and toys in the backyard so your kids will never get bored! Sherry and Camille are so caring! You can tell because all the kids love them both! Our daughter too was very comfortable with them as when she would come home she would tell us how they listened to her for what she wanted. Like one time she wanted more pizza :) That is also a plus! Always smiling daycare provides breakfast and lunch at no extra cost! They also provide the diapers at no extra cost too! This made our life so much easier as we did not need to prepare breakfast or lunch for our daughter everyday as well as check when we needed to refill her diaper supply! They provide so much more than all the other daycares we explored. On our daughter's first day and one other day, she was crying when we left her :( However, Sherry was so kind to reassure us that she was fine by sending us pictures of how she was doing! And we could see that our daughter was no longer crying and enjoying herself :) Sherry was so kind too on our daughter's first few days at her daycare, by sending us pictures over text to let us see how she was doing. And then after that she posts pictures and now recently short videos of how your kid is doing! Always Smiling Daycare also celebrates every child's birthday! Sherry even offers to make a cake for your child on her birthday and also pays for a gift for them! It is also really great they have a reward system for good behavior, where at the end of the day, if the child had good behavior they get a sticker :) Our daughter loved getting stickers and now we use stickers too at home to reward our daughter for good behavior! And then on Fridays the child gets to pick a toy for good behavior. Our daughter has gotten a lot of toys that she still plays with today! She also learned the whole alphabet song and is able to count to 30! Our friend who referred us here also told us that she had sent her son to many other daycares and this is the only one he enjoys and comes home smiling! Plus all other daycares we looked at were at least $400 more than Always Smiling Daycare! I hope you all find this review useful and if you are looking for a daycare, you give Always Smiling daycare a try! read more

My daughter has been going to this day care for almost 2 years. We are very happy with the experience.

My son has been going to Sherry's home for about 5 months now and he absolutely loves it. My son is 3 and has a speech issue. I was very concerned about his difficulty communicating and whether he would adjust to the other kids. I am happy to say that my son is thriving and his speech has improved so much. read more

My son started at Always Smiling almost one year ago when he was a little over six months old. He had been at another daycare for one month, but there was a pit in my stomach every day when I dropped him off, and I felt like it was not the right place for him. My husband and I felt really great about Sherry when we toured, and I knew we'd found the right place on the first day when I dropped my son off and the pit that had been in my stomach with the old daycare was instantly gone! My son loves Sherry and Camille so much and gets excited each morning when we arrive. It's not too surprising though, because they are wonderful with the kids! They truly love them and care about them, just like you would hope your daycare providers would. I love how much outside time the kids get, and Sherry goes above and beyond to make sure the kids have new toys on a really frequent basis. They do circle time, arts and crafts, and tons of outside play every day, and I really feel like my son has benefited from the routines and his experiences there. When my son first started, he was drinking bottles of pumped milk on a pretty regular feeding schedule at home, and Sherry did a great job of keeping up with that schedule for us. She also gave us a written account of his feedings, sleep info and diaper changes for each day, which was incredibly helpful for us. Each time we've transitioned to something new at home (pumped milk to whole milk, bottles to cups, starting solid foods, etc.), Sherry has been incredibly helpful and supportive in transitioning at daycare as well. Also, Sherry supplies diapers and wipes, which is almost unheard of based on my conversations with other parents! It is SO nice to not have to worry about checking and restocking his daycare supplies! Sherry doesn't keep a wait-list, but don't hesitate to text her to find out if she has openings. She didn't when I was first searching for daycare, but I am forever thankful that I decided to send her a text one morning after I dropped my son off at his first daycare and found out she had a spot! read more

My daughter started going to Always Smiling since she was 6 month old. She had a great transition from home environment to daycare. We got texts from Sherry when she had concerns and she always updated us daily about my daughters appetite, energetic level and social interactions with kids. Sherry takes very good care of my daughter and my daughter's so happy to be there everyday! Sherry is very caring, loving, attentive, dedicated and genuine. Always Smiling is highly recommended! read more

Sherry is great in taking care of kids. I would recommend Sherry any day. They have fun group activities too.

Always Smiling Daycare is an amazing daycare that genuinely cares about each and every child. The caregivers, Sherry and Camille, are loving, patient, and professional. They treat each child like their own and create a warm and welcoming environment. Our daughter always comes home happy and smiling, and she loves going to the daycare. They provide healthy meals and snacks, and the kids always have a lot of fun. We highly recommend Always Smiling Daycare! read more

I've been taking my son to Always Smiling Daycare for a little over 1 year now. Sherry is amazing! My son is now 3 years old and he has learned so much from her. Not only does she provide a home daycare she actually teaches them a lot. It's like a pre-school environment. My son comes home with artwork everyday and is always singing new songs that I have never heard before. She is reasonably priced and helps with potty training as well. Sherry is so loving and easygoing. I am extremely happy I found her. Thank you Sherry! read more

My daughter loves going to Sherry's daycare! We started sending her to Sherry's when she was 9 months old. It's almost a year now. Sherry and Camille are really good with the kids. They care about every child's development and pay attention to their needs. Sherry transitioned my daughter from the feeding bottle to the sippy cup, and now to the covered cup. She teaches her colors, alphabets, months, nursery rhymes, etc. My daughter enjoys her time at the daycare, particularly the play area in Sherry's backyard. And as an anxious mother, I often feel the urge to check on my daughter. So I love that Sherry posts pictures on FB daily of the kids having fun! read more

I was referred to Always Smiling Daycare by a good friend. My son Diego was his first time at Daycare and it was a very difficult transition for him and myself, but Sherry was so wonderful and patient with him. She has eased and comforted him with special attention and love. She opened her home to a warm and welcoming environment as well as a place of learning and protection and that has made my heart feel so at ease. In the short time , he has made leaps and bounds in his development. He comes home singing songs, counting, reciting his months and days of the week and gets excited to show us his daily art project. Diego has gained a sense of independence and going to the potty all by himself as well as learning to be a great sharer. Thank you Sherry and Camille for your tireless energy, enthusiasm and Love you have brought to us. I highly recommend anyone looking for a Daycare to look no further. read more

My two kids have been going to Sherry for almost 2 years now and I have only been happy with the experience! There are too many good things to say but for me the most important thing is that Sherry does it from her heart!! She has a genuine affection with all the kids and that shows in everything she does. Some unique things that my kids get here are that every child's birthday is celebrated with songs, cakes and even lavish gifts!! All special days are celebrated with lot of enthusiasm, kids get to take small treasures every Friday! Sherry and Camille are really great in bringing new toys all the time and make it a fun and stimulating environment. They have a large backyard full of slides etc. Sherry & Camille also do a great job in teaching kids good manners as well as lots of new things.. they do art every day! I can go on and on - but to summarize I recommend Sherry to any parent who wants a loving and safe environment for their kids. read more

My son went to Always Smiling daycare for 1 year, starting at 14 months old. Sherry and Camille were wonderful, helping with the transition from home to daycare, and they took such great care of him the entire time that we were there. He got plenty of outdoor time, made great friends, got to play with plenty of toys that Sherry kept rotating. He went through some major milestones at Always Smiling daycare, including learning to walk and talk. He learned so much. We loved that got to see and experience a home with pets because we don't have them ourselves. He was always safe, healthy and happy at Always Smiling daycare. He came home with a "treasure" (toy) every Friday. Sherry had a way of doing these unique things to make the kids feel special. She is kind, respectful, and just amazing with kids. Additionally, they recently did a parents night out for a very reasonable price, which is a really great option when we need childcare for date nights. We trust her fully and were sad to leave. We always recommend this daycare to all our friends and to anyone reading this! read more

Writing a very long overdue review for this wonderful Daycare. We are so thankful for Always Smiling Daycare. My daughter has been there for almost 2 years now and there is no doubt that she is well cared for by Sherry and Camille each day. I love the routine she establishes for the kids - Art time, snack time, circle time, nap time, lunch time and play time. My daughter started when she was 2 years old and was transitioning from full-time nanny care to daycare environment. We were so anxious and toured about 15 different daycare/ preschool and none came close to this one in terms of quality of care. When our daughter started she was really upset as she was at home for 2 years and had never experienced any kind of school type environment with other kids. She cried every morning at drop off and struggled with transition times or going down for naps. If it wasn't the kind-hearted and infinitely patient sherry our daughter would never have survived a transition to the preschool/ daycare environment. Sherry is very responsive on text messages and keeps posting pictures and my kid loves going there now every day and enjoy her routine. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! read more

Sherry is amazing to my two young boys. She has been caring for my oldest for more than 3 years and took on my infant at 3 months old. She loves them like their her own! The kids do great craft projects, circle time, and my oldest knows all of his shapes and colors (still working on days of the week ). There is plenty of outside play time and sherry has an amazing backyard with plenty of things to do for the kids to get out pent up energy. Her daughter Camile who helps sherry is always so kind and sweet to my boys and she misses them when they are not there which warms my heart. The boys faces light up the moment they see sherry in the morning and while they are happy to see mommy when she picks up at the end of the day, they always run to sherry for a hug to finish off their day together. I consider myself lucky to have found Sherry and can't thank her enough for all that she has done with my boys. read more

My twins are so happy here. Sherry and her daughter Carmel take good care of kids. They are loving, patient and professional caregivers. Kids don't lie. My twins used to stay in other care center before and told me they didn't want to go to school. But now, they say goodbye to me every morning with happy faces. I appreciate what Sherry and Carmel do for kids. As a working mom, now I can go to work without guilt, because my kids are going to a place they like! read more

As a first-time parent with zero family around to help care for our son, we had no choice but to find a quality daycare that would become my son's home away from home. After our initial tour with Sherry, this place was a great match for us because her home is very comfortable, has wonderful play spaces (both indoors and outdoors) for the children, and it's clean and well organized. But, more importantly she has a passion for children that's undeniable. The well-being and care of every child that walks through her doors is her first priority. I see it every time I interact with her and her daughter Camille, and we've been with them for almost 2 years now. Choose Always Smiling Daycare if you're looking for one-on-one care and attention for your child, a schedule that keeps your baby feeling safe, secure and confident, assistance with potty-training, circle time with songs and age appropriate learning lessons, exposure to creating art as early as 14 months old, birthday and holiday celebrations, and daily doses of their super fun energy that keeps your baby always smiling! read more

We looked around quite a bit to find a good day care for our son. We settled on Always Smiling for a whole bunch of reasons and started sending our son when he was about 18mo old. For starters, it was affordable and within our budget and the commute time was very short which was also a constraint for us. But it was the intangibles that won us over. First and foremost, Sherry's down-to-earth and very positive personality, her many years of experience running day care, being a parent to her 3 kids, her love for animals and the safe environment of her home. All of this gave us enormous confidence that our son will acclimatize quickly and thrive there. Now its been about 7 months since he has been going to Always Smiling and he loves it. We feel so lucky to have found Sherry and Camille to take care of our son. These are the best part of the day care for me: 1. They take pictures and videos of the kids so we can see what they are up to. 2. They have good play area in the back for the kids and keep adding new things periodically which is great for the kids. 3. There is good diversity of demographic of kids; indian, asian, caucasian etc. 4. They do art work, circle time every day which is great. 5. They celebrate Thanksgiving, Christmas, Birthdays etc by doing potluck parties. To me the biggest testimonial for Sherry's work is when I met parents of kids who she took care of few years earlier have such high regard and appreciate her work so much. We take this yelp review as an opportunity to thank Sherry and Camille for the great job and service they are doing and highly recommend them. We wish them the very best. read more

Sherry is simply the best there is. I'm a retired CalWORKs supervisor and part of my job was working directly with childcare providers all over Santa Clara County, mostly in Gilroy. I had the pleasure of meeting Sherry when my daughter needed childcare about 7 years ago. Our second grandson spent only a few months there last Spring but from learning the alphabet we noticed that he started reading on his own. She just like part of the family and every child is one of her own. Absolutely wonderful. read more

I've been meaning to update my review since we left August 2015. We were sad to leave Always Smiling Daycare after being there for almost 3 years. Our daughter was sad to leave Sherry and Camille, but she was starting Kindergarten. I have to say my daughter was very well prepared for kindergarten. They have a great home daycare program. My daughter learned so much from Always Smiling Daycare!! I wish I would have found Sherry sooner. We do visit Sherry and Camille, and my daughter just lights up every time she sees them. You know they are great caregivers when kids coming running back to them even after being gone for so long. Sherry and Camille love every child like each child was their own. Even though we no longer go there, Sherry has an annual potluck get together of past and current children who have attended Always Smiling Daycare. She hires entertainment for the kids too, and everyone always has such a great time. We loved Always Smiling Daycare! Highly recommend this home daycare! read more

I just want to say thanks to Sherry and her staff. I choose Always Smiling Daycare at first was because it's close to my work. We came down to California from Canada and had only a few days to settle things before we started works here. Our boy is now 3 years old, and we see his progress every day when we go pick him up. Our boy was in a very reputable daycare in Ottawa, and I believe at Sherry's place, he (and us) received above and beyond the care he had in Ottawa. read more

My son is coming to Sherry since he was 18 months, he is almost 4. He loves Sherry and so do I, My son has gained a great amount of knowledge and above all awesome social skill. Our son has learned valuable lessons in the areas of friendship & sharing, manners and helping others. Sherry has those kids on preschool program as soon they can hold a pen, when older kids work on the curriculum, little kids just doddle which helps they with their motors skills. I have a very hard time trusting people with my son, at Always Smiling Daycare it's always been very easy. She is very caring and spends the time to talk with me through anything that is going on during the day. They have parties and crafts for holidays and all the children seem to be pretty happy. They have independence while having someone loving with them instead of a teacher's scolding or no supervision. She water mist on hot days, bouncy house someday in summer. read more

My daughter has been going to Always Smiling since the past 6 months. I am very happy with the care that she receives from Sherry and Camille. The best thing that I like about them is that they totally love what they are doing, they are professional and at the same time very friendly, and the care that they give to the children is highly genuine. The place is kept very clean and they provide home-made healthy food to the kids everyday. They celebrate all the children's birthdays and all the holidays such as Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas very well. Sherry has also potty trained my child, it requires a very high amount of patience and I am highly thankful to Sherry for helping us with it. My child loves all of Sherry's pets and everyday she excitedly tells me how she spent the day at school with her friends. I highly recommend Always Smiling, sometimes at work I miss my child a lot, a quick text to Sherry and she sends me a couple of pics, it calms me down rightaway. read more

I brought my son to Sherry when he was about 4 months old. As a first time mom, I spent numerous hours researching potential caregivers for my son because he was born with medical issues. I went to a few daycare providers but did not feel that I could trust them with my son as he required specialized care. Most providers did not want the extra responsibility involved in caring for my baby. But, Sherry was unique and different from everyone I met. She has a genuine heart and an innate loving disposition to care for little ones like they are her own. This was and still is a huge deal for me. When I first met Sherry, I instantly connected with her caring and "down to earth" nature. Whenever I see her with my son, I notice a bond between them. Not only is she able to care for multiple children at the same time, but she has that special gift to connect with each child individually. Nothing can beat this unique personalized attention when it comes to your own child. Sherry definitely offers affordable rates, especially for the extra perks she offers. There is no additional fee for the pre-school curriculum she utilizes to encourage learning and development of young minds. Her daily activities with the kids consists of circle time, art projects, nap time and free play. My son comes home with a different art creation everyday! I remember when my son learned the 12 months of the year a little after turning one. Now, at age 3, he can recite the planets of the solar system. I can't say enough good things about Sherry and how much she has contributed to my son's well-being. Sherry's home is my son's second home, and I feel comforted and secure each and every day I drop him off at Always Smiling Daycare. Thank you, Sherry, for treating my lil guy, like YOUR OWN! read more

Sherry! Just thinking about her brings a smile and sense of satisfaction on my face.My daughter has been going to Sherry's - Always Smiling Day Care since she was one year old, for the past two years. She went to two home based day cares prior to that and I had accepted the fact that a day care can not be a kid's second home UNTIL we met Sherry. We came across her advertisement on Craigslist and went and met her. Her kind, gentle as well as enthusiastic demeanor and genuine attitude immediately made us decide that this will be our daughter's day care. I am so glad we made that decision. Sherry has been a great care -giver and teacher. My daughter loves her and is eager to go to her second home every single day. She has learned letters, rhymes, writing alphabets, counting numbers and much more. Sherry follows the Mother Goose Pre-School course, my daughter comes back home with a craft every day. She teaches the kids to be friendly and gentle and they learn to share and care about each other. They are like one big happy family . :) ( I know!!) They celebrate valentine's day, Easter, Halloween, thanksgiving and Christmas at day care. Sherry gives morning breakfast, nutritious lunch having protein and veggies and evening snacks. Her back yard and day care is full of great toys, bikes, slides. It's a kids paradise indeed. I really like that she is extra cautious about safety of kids and always keeps a watch on them. Thank you Sherry for the excellent care and love you have given to our daughter. Thanks for every thing, every now and then! read more

Both of my girls LOVE going to Sherry's! My oldest is now 3 and has been there since 6 months old, and my youngest just started at 4 months. We've been impressed by how much our daughter learns there and how quickly, with all the activities and outside play (and each day we get an art projects to take home!). It's also been wonderful that Sherry provides food for the older kids, and diapers and wipes for the babies! Sherry is incredibly responsive, compassionate, personable and most importantly she loves our kids! Highly recommend! read more

I am so blessed I found Sherry (and Camille) to watch my son. Both of them are super caring and wonderful with all the children in their daycare. When I had to start looking like all parents it was very stressful. My husband and I walked in to meet Sherry and immediately I had a good vibe just by Sherry's personality. We did the tour of the place and we get outside and didn't even get to the car and my husband and I both said we wanted her and almost a year later absolutely no regrets. It has been nothing but great for our son. She has taught him so much and he has grown in many ways. Sherry worked with us on potty training him and he was trained a month after we started him. Her daycare isn't just playtime it's more structured (like preschool) with all the things they teach them, etc. It gets the kids ready to thrive when they move onto school. I highly recommend Sherry for anyone looking for a wonderful daycare for their children. read more
