Odd experience with Katlyn... she basically ghosted us and never responded to emails…read more At first everything seemed great! Her first set of inspiration photos was really cool, but not quite what we were looking for. So we sort of started from scratch and she seemed excited to try again. Many of our emails went unanswered, but she later responded and said she had some health concerns and so wasn't able to answer email, but was doing better now. Take 2 was much closer to what we were looking for. We actually met her in person at the shop in Pittsburgh (we live in Ca) to discuss it. There were a couple of suggestions/requests we had to modify the plan. Again she seemed on board - super friendly and helpful, even offered to help out extra with non-floral design (plates, chairs, etc.). At this point, we absolutely loved her! She had a lot of unique ideas. However, after this meeting she never responded to our emails. Months went by and many emails were sent. In my last email to her, I asked fairly simply for her to just let us know if she still wanted to/was able to work with us, and that we would understand if she felt like we weren't a good fit or if she was too busy. I wrote that if I didn't hear back from her, we would assume that she wasn't going to be able to work with us. We had not paid her a cent (nor been asked to) at this point, but she had clearly put in a good amount of work preparing ideas and slides and meeting with us and such. So we were really surprised to not hear anything back from her. But about 1.5 months later without any response, we still hadn't heard back so we moved on to a different florist. What an odd experience! Great ideas, but not reliable (or maybe she is reliable if she likes you? I really have no idea, we never got any feedback from her!).

I had my wedding at their studio/workshop/garden and it was a dream. When people see my wedding photos, the only thing they comment on is the flowers and my dog. GreenSinner has done some of the most beautiful and innovative wedding and event design in the city. I would recommend it to anyone, confident you'll get something even more amazing than you dreamed. Their flower CSA is also excellent - local flowers at a fair price with pickup spots around the city. I recently came here with a work group to make a little garden gnome terrarium. The owner was so…read moresweet and knowledgeable and really allowed our entire group to make their terrarium their own. We honestly had a great time. When we got there there was a long table set-up with gloves for people who didn't want to get their hands dirty and all of our terrarium supplies. The owner had a demo for us to look at but we all took the terrarium and and made it our own. No one had to fight for plants or decorations because the owner had enough out for everyone. She talked to us to tell us a little bit about the plants but also allowed us time to bond as a group. It was a great way to spend a Friday with coworkers. When one of my co-workers mentioned something about trying to make tea pot terrariums the owner said that she would order some plants and we could come in and bring our teapots and tea mugs and make them right in the shop. This type of customer service cannot be beat. I really did enjoy my time at one happy flower shop. If anyone is looking for flowers or a co-worker activity this is the place to go. The time past fast, the owner was magnificent, and in the end you got to go home with your own creation. This was really a great experience. I encourage anyone who's interested or is looking for something different to head to one happy flower shop and see what they have to offer.

Karen, the owner, helped Jen create the bouquet and flower crown of her dreams. Karen planted peonies for the wedding in April. When that had to be postponed Karen planted dahlias for August. The whole process was artistic and amazing.
