Dr Loosli is truly a miracle worker, I too am surprised he does not have hundreds of 5-star reviews because friends who have used him also rave about him as the "only game in town". He has treated me and family members for foot issues, knee issues, elbow issues, shoulder issues and in each case, the "prescription" of at-home rehabilitative exercises and shoes etc had each of us up and back to our exercise activities in a few weeks I saw the difference in treatment a few times when I have gone to other doctors at the St Francis Medicai Center. When my son injured an ankle through overuse and growing issues and Dr Loosli was not available, one St Francis doctor prescribed lots of Advil (I think it was), and crutches and no rehabilitative exercise at all. After about 6 weeks of this and no improvement for my young teen, I took him to doctor Loosli who took him off the overdosing of Advil and the crutches, prescribed at-home rehabilitative exercises, and other measures and in a few weeks my son was better and back to activities. I made the same mistake with my daughter when Dr Loosli was on vacation, I took her to yet a third doctor at St Francis in Walnut Creek, and instead of giving us exercises she could do at home (Thanksgiving break was coming up) he just wrote out a prescription to go to a rehab center, which couldn't even fit us in before Thanksgiving, so my daughter lost 2 weeks of rehabilitation. After Thanksgving, we went to Dr Loosli and he prescribed at-home rehabilitation exercises and she was mended in a matter of weeks. He also takes the time to talk to you about nutrition, activities etc to get to the heart of the problem, often discovering things in this way a rushed doctor would not. Can't say enough good things about Dr Looslu, he's been like a miracle worker for us and I've seen the difference in treatment and results the few times I was foolish to use another orthopedic doctor. read more
