Waiting 4 months was not what I'm disgruntled about. I called George and he was with another customer. I left my number but he never called back. I called the next week left my number, no return phone call. This happen 4 times!!!! On the 5th call I actually got to speak with him and let him know,I was not happy, this is not how you take care of customers! Never calling back says you could care less about me or my $23,000+ dollars I'm giving your company. Had my company not already cut the check I would have gone someplace else. Shelby took over once the mule came in and she called me 5 times with updates. She did a great job. George did not! I never heard from George again. I wouldn't recommend buying here, my experience was not great.

Just this year, we had to do our first major maintenance on the modern ag products heavy-duty shredder/bush hog. The stump-jumper pan finally gave out and needs to be replaced ($200-$250). Other than the annual greasing and gearbox oil check, we haven't had to do anything other than clean it after shredding and we have done some heavy shredding with it and it is not shedded. We appreciate their experience and advice and will be doing business with them again as we upgrade to a 15' mower (still keeping our 7' shredder). As for our 8' disk mower we have never had to do anything with it other than the usual annual maintenance. Wharton isn't the closest town with a tractor shop (we are in Bay City), but our next purchase will be with them.

He has two different tree farms so it depends on what type of tree you are looking for as to where you will meet him to choose your trees. When we chose our trees, we had the choices of Pine, Live Oak, Water Oak, Red Oak, Elm, and Red Maple. At the time, he did not have a good selection of Nutall Oaks. He can scoop your current trees and replace them or he can add trees if that is what you need. He is using a hydraulic tree spade which weighs several tons so you will have some unavoidable ruts in your yard when he is finished. The prices you pay are much better for what you are getting. The trees you pick out are not the typical tree that is in a large black bucket that can cost several hundred dollars for a stick with leaves.
