I would run to Copylandia to have it photocopied. When my thesis partner and I had to make hundreds of copies of our survey, we would run here again. And when I needed to make several copies of sequence guides, shot lists and scripts, I'd come here. Just know that there will be times when the place is full of people all waiting for their photocopies. If you don't need it right away, they sometimes allow you to leave it overnight or leave it with them in the morning and come back in the afternoon. But hey, it's cheap and the quality is pretty good.

There hasn't been a transaction I've made here that got my blood pressure skyrocketing to the stratosphere. They are fast, and they obviously know their machines well. Two: The line is manageable. More often than not, Photocopying services are flocked by so many people, it takes you super long waiting for your turn. And all the more annoying if you're only going to photocopy one page or two! I've never experienced that in here. You can probably blame their "hiddenness" in Greenbelt 1, which is just convenient to me altogether. Three: They can do bulk photocopying and would even cut to size for you! Of course you would have to ask that as a "favor", so be friendly. Four: They have many choices of paper quality, types and sizes. If you're in need of large photocopying services, this is the place to be. Five: Their price range is....okay, I guess. But it's a mall shop. Expect it to be higher than usual.

I don't know about you, but I have been let down by many a copier, so even though Diliman is a bit of a distance away, I get the job done at UP, not questions asked. Sure, there are many other copy centers in the area, but you will remember Blessings because they've somewhat taken over the whole Shopping Center, taking the space of a lot of stalls along the whole area, all just making copies. Well, okay, they also do all sorts of binding and printing. A couple of their stores do nice photo prints for posters and such, which is something to look out for. And they seriously have their job down pat. I cannot imagine keeping track of all those pages of books and counting numbers of copies and inhaling all that toner. There's nothing like the smell of fresh, hot photocopies, mind you, but what they do is no joke. These people have the Blessings name to uphold.

Rather than shelling out quite a lot of money to buy an entire book when all you need is a chapter or two, I find that it is always cheaper and more practical to just borrow a book from a friend and have it photocopied. In UP Diliman, most of my readings in grad school come from the Blessings Photocopy Center, which is located inside the ancient UP Shopping Center, a complex inside the campus that has everything, from business centers, to eye clinics, from gift shops to restaurants. Anyway, I love the Blessings Photocopy Center because even though they are always very busy, the ladies and gentlemen who operate the machines are not masungit and cranky. They are very fast and efficient. What my class usually does is someone leaves a copy of the assigned readings, and we just give the course codes and the week number of the text that we need to have. Blessings has never lost any of our readings, which is great because that would mean that you won't have to show up to class unprepared. They also offer other services such as mass reproducing of flyers and brochures, risographing and book binding. I meticulously have all my readings bound in a single ring binder, and the ates and kuyas are always so nice in assisting me with the book binding.

They may not be the shop that offers the cheapest rate for these services in the Taft Avenue and Vito Cruz areas, but the quality of their finished product makes all the difference. Their "powder xerox" (at Php .60 per page) is of already of print quality (there's none of the usual grey and black smudges on the paper). What's more, they use good quality (read: thick) paper, not those flimsy coupon bonds used by other photocopiers. When you're on a budget and need multiple copies of a document that have to look like the original, just have them print one set and photocopy the rest. It's cheaper that way, and the difference in quality is not that noticeable. Black and white printing would cost you Php 2 per page, more than the usual "piso print", but again, quality spells the difference. Colored printing starts at Php 5, cheaper than in other shops. Aside from printing and photocopying services, the Estrada Branch also offers ID picture-taking and printing, colored photocopying, and poster printing. The shop also doubles as an Internet cafe.

I was so tempted to buy pens 'cause they were so inexpensive, but then I saw the line and I didn't want to wait. It's Christmas time so it's a super busy time in the mall. This bookstore also had lots of toys on the ground floor, and art and school supplies on the 2nd floor.

Though naturally, rates here would be a bit pricier than most print shops (I guess it's because they really have a good location-ground floor walk up and in one of Makati's more elite neighborhoods). If you regularly ride the bus, you've probably passed by their Gil Puyat branch, having a convenient location that's easy to find and a huge sign that screams "HEY, LET ME PRINT YOUR STUFF!" at the front (just kidding, it says Randxell Printing Services). So look no more, it has pretty much what you're looking for. Careful crossing Osmena Highway though. (That's the part I hate the most going to Randxell).

This is a very inexpensive place to have your one hour or less pictures taken at. We had 1"x1"…read morephotos taken, and it was only 75 Pesos for a set of more than 4 pictures. The other photo shop nearby charges double the price for 4 photos. I have also had them make refrigerator magnets for a great price. You just need to log onto their WiFi and upload your picture onto their site. They make oil paintings of your picture which are created by a local artist. Now that is something that I have not done here yet.

When I was young, I remember having to wait to develop my 24 or 26 rolls of photos. I would be so excited even when I had to wait to get my ID photos done for school IDs, passports, etc... I think because not a lot of people print out photos anymore. Most people have their photos directly on their phones, on their laptops, or even in digital frames. But for whatever reason you may be needing an ID photo done and you can't wait more than 15 minutes to have your photo taken and printed, theres a small nook in Greenbelt 1 that is more convenient that the regular photo shops. I prefer to go to Tronix because in just ten minutes you basically get four to six pieces your ID photos for as low as Php60. No fuss, no 30 minutes to 1 hour waits.
