Altrincham Post Office is now located inside WHSmith, on the upper floor, while this is a concept which I dislike with a Post Office, this store isn't too bad. They have a good amount of counters, and also had a good amount of staff working meaning the queue seemed to go down pretty quickly, so the wait wasn't too bad. They didn't have any automated self-service postal machines, I would have liked to see them here as most Post Offices, even those within WHSmith locations do seem to have them. It's a shame to see Altrincham Post Office shut on Sunday's, even though the store it is located in does remain open (WHSmith), so that makes little sense in my opinion. 3* - Decent Post Office, facilities are minimal due to WHSmith location, but quick service and pretty good for a small town. read more
