Everyone speaks English, so if you don't speak German, you're good. Second, they offer you samples CONTINUOUSLY. Like, you could walk out of there not having purchased a thing, and be full. Obviously that is a rude thing to do, and they have such delicious options, that you won't be doing that anyway! They have all kinds of crazy gummies from frogs to mushrooms to brains! In my opinion, its emphasis should be on personal consumption of any of the goodies that abound in this cute little store instead of on gifts of candy, cookies, and sweet things There is an area where you can buy cookies and some candies and because of that in passing this store several times I just had to buy a cookie each time I passed it The cookies were good, not great. Still, I like the store and its staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The store is a retail outlet for the cookies and candies that are made elsewhere. They also had no problem with me having my little dog in the store.

The chocolate we purchased is so good and my wife wishes that she'd purchased more marzipan! Note that some of the candies in the case have alcohol in them. The ones without it are clearly labeled with the "martini glass with a slash through it" icon next to the name.
