Location
Only came here because we were stuck in traffic going south to Woollongong, and there was nowhere else to go... Not a convenient place to go, but definitely more of a stop on the way during a road trip. The view is great - probably the best aspect of the restaurant. Likely its only selling point.
First impressions
Looks like an average restaurant. Decor is minimal (semi-festive in late December with one tree and a few table decorations. The beige cloth chairs are mostly stained with suspicious food marks. Doesn't look like there's been a serious attempt at cleaning them. Floors need a good vacuum.
Service
Very understaffed for late December. Staff were kind, but it's obvious that they needed more hands on deck. Our food arrived in about half an hour, but after 50 minutes of sitting, we were still waiting on a coffee... We reminded them kindly 3 times but it still took almost an hour for us to get a single coffee.
Ambience
Bright and natural lighting.
Food
The big breakfast, and the juice we wanted were unavailable. Would be good to cross them off the menu if it's not just a temporary hitch. Very average. Chips were dry and hard, and the fish was okay. The presentation is nice. read more
