The most important thing that needs mentioning is the food. It was perfect. Quite possibly the best food i have had in my life. We ordered 2 tapas dishes, an entree and a main, the main was an accident (our fault) and we didn't intend on getting it, but we are very glad we did. The two tapas options we had were tempura prawns and the meatballs. The tempura was cooked perfectly, the prawns were delicious and not undersized with a delicious sweet sauce that accompanied the dish very well. The meatballs were amazing, they fell apart in your mouth. With a nice tomato sauce then on top a yogurt mint sauce they were a pleasure to eat. The entree we ordered was the gnocchi ragu with slow cooked beef cheek. The best gnocchi we have ever had. It was amazingly soft and delicate and the sauce was rich and hearty, superb for a cold evening. The succulent beef cheek dissolved on the plate and was complimented by enticing polenta and sweet potato. The price was not high enough for the quality of food that came out of the kitchen. Texturally alone it's a winner: super crispy on the outside, light on the inside and with bits of walnut throughout to make it fun. Flavor is right on with extra richness from the nuts. Totally delicious. Also had a spinach, pumpkin, feta and walnut salad that was excellent. The feta they use is soft and creamy and again, texturally unique next to the pumpkin and nuts.
