We are replacing all the flooring you installed 5 years ago, which we discussed. Here is what we have learned so far as we completed the bedroom yesterday: 1. There were NO major dips or uneven areas in the concrete which is what your installer claimed to be the cause of our issues. 2. There was NO vapor barrier installed as is required on all installations over concrete slab subfloors. 3. There were NO expansion gaps as is required by all flooring manufacturers for laminate flooring installations. In other words, everything that could have been done incorrectly was exactly that; an extremely faulty and poor installation. I will update you on the livingroom replacement when it is completed next week. I expect to find the same outcome there. The installation Converse provided was terrible and caused all the damage we incurred. As you refused to take any responsibility or even to come look at the problems, there has no way I was going to allow your company to do any further work in our house. This is a shame because your work installing our carpet upstairs and HD linoleum in our laundry room was excellent. Converse should not be selling and installing vinyl plank flooring as that is not something you do successfully. I've informed the Oregon Construction Contractors Board (OCCB) which unfortunately will not follow up as your installation was over 1 year ago, which is their time limit. They did inform me that I have 6 years to take legal if I choose to do so. We were trying to avoid any type of litigation but your actions have made us rethink that position.

Today he textured our guest room that had old wall paper on top of cheap panelling. It feels like it is, a room in a new home. It is beautiful! And will be lovely after it's painted. He built us, beautiful Stone & Concrete Stairs going from the lower yard to the upper yard! He replaced a wall on our dinning room. He's replaced doors, including the front door and gifted us a lovely Glass Screen Door. Ron put a new Roof on our home, along with helping our neighbors finish their Roof, on their Shop! When the Bomb Cyclone took out our Awning off the Shop and a complete Exterior Section of our home, he repaired them (1/3/23)... He built us hugh open/close doors on our shop. I know I am forgetting more projects/repairs, as I contact Ron whenever I need a job done.. Why? Because I know I can trust him 100%. He is Honest, Fast, Reliable and stands behind the Quality of his Work and his Word! I don't know if my review will do Ron the justice and recognition he deserves for the decades of Quality Work he has given to myself and his other customers. He truly is a diamond in the rough in the competitive contracting world. I know Ron was raised by his father with tools in his hands since he was very young. Learning to build houses from the ground up. There isn't anything Ron can't build. He also has built some beautiful Tiny Home's. My bathroom remodel contractor referred me to Rogue Valley Marble Company for my bathtub/shower…read moresurround. Found the product I wanted and contractor dealt with ordering and arranging date for installation. Two men came out with large pieces of cultured marble and measured and cut on site. Person responsible for doing the cutting set up saw horses in the street in front of my driveway close by to where I had 2 RV vehicles parked and did all the cutting out there with his circular saw, which took quite some time and what a mess he made in the street and the abrasive grinding dust flying all over my vehicles, made it look like it had snowed on them; cultured marble grinding dust everywhere. Also, there was nothing laid down to protect carpeting from this marble dust, as they came in and out many, many times from the street. When they were all done and getting ready to leave without a word or any conversation, I approached them and asked if all this debris would be cleaned up and was told 'if you have water and a hose, we can wash it down' - which I supplied; they got it out from in front of my house, pretty much but made a muddied mess of white cultured marble dust / grindings in the gutters in front of 3 of my neighbors driveways and they left. My husband wound up washing and brooming it down in front of the neighbors, which took quite some time on a hot day, to remove from in front of their properties of which the neighbors were not too pleased. At this time, (other than the above install review), we are pleased with the finished product of this install.
