She also mends clothes too, in fact I have a leather jacket that must be taken in. Their service is very good and I have never had any complaints. The turn around is fast too. If you call up first they would be able to offer you advice and rough costings over the phone. I don't think there is anywhere else nearby that offers the same sort of service. There is some parking at the rear but if there isn't any available the main car park is just own the road. I would highly recommend this place.

I rang June in May to ask her for help with my friend's wedding dress…read more Unfortunately due to circumstances, my friend, Lizzie, had to move her wedding to her fiancé forward by over a year and, although she had a dress, it needed quite a few nips and tucks and alterations making. June's number was given to me by a few people telling me how amazing she was and they were right. June is so understanding and understood the time constraints we were facing. She was able to alter the dress in under 3 weeks and was so friendly and lovely throughout the whole process and made sure that Lizzie was comfortable the whole way through. 6 days before the wedding, Lizzie tried her dress on again and found out that it was too tight to go fully up (the medication she is on has made her quite bloated). Ringing June in a panic, I asked if she could think of anything. Within the hour, she had reassured me and the bride and made a beautiful bow to cover any gaps in the dress (the material her dress was made from meant we couldn't just 'let it out'). She really did go above and beyond and ensured that Lizzie both looked stunning on her wedding day and felt comfortable! Get all that boring iroining into a black bin bag and call them, They collect on a Mon, Wed, and fri and deliver 2 days later, so collect on a Mon drop off back to you on a Wed and so on. When it is collected the man has a scale that he hangs the bag on and he can tell you there and then how much it will cost. The first time I used them I felt it was so cheap I asked him to wait and got the rest of my ironing. It is delivered back to you in a celophane wrapper all hung on metal coat hangers and very well ironed. Never had any problems. It would make a great present to give to someone also.
