I hate it so much I often just buy new clothes instead of washing my old ones. That laundry issue is magnified a thousandfold if you live in a condominium in Makati. One, not everyone has a washing machine in their unit. Two, even if you did, where do you hang the clothes to dry? Thus came the start of my long-term relationship with laundry shops in the Metro Manila. I've tried them all. I have extensive laundry needs for a two-year old, for a husband and for a lot of beddings. So far, the laundry service I love most is Metropole. They are actually the only ones I trust with my daughter's clothes because they use mild laundry detergent that's really just for babies if you ask them to. Their dry cleaning service is just as good, I bought my fur vest to them (which was refused by other laundry shops because of how delicate it is) and they were able to clean it without a hitch. They've never lost any of my clothes and everything comes back clean, neatly folded and smelling really fresh. I am and will always be a loyal client.

Malaking bagay yung laundry services ngayon talaga para sa tulad kong tamad at mapagmaarte. Hahaha! Metropole Laundry & Dry Cleaners is the best laundry (so far) naming family! Ito yung services offered: Wash-Dry-Fold, Wash-Dry-Press, Comforter Cleaning, Household item Cleaning (curtains, seat covers, etc.) and yung Dry-Cleaning! Never pa silang na-late ng laba (may time na ahead of schedule pa namin nakuha yung mga damit) kaya good shot sila sa amin! Yoonnn, panalo! As in! Tried this Laundry shop for a couple of our pants. Went to…read morethem last Monday(March 13) at around late afternoon, told our helper to comeback the next day. Our helper went back at around 3pm the next day to pick the clothes up, and still the clothes are not washed, still on the basket and asked our helper to go back at 6pm. Ofcourse our helper couldn't just go back anytime they wanted her to come back because she has other responsibilities but she was able to comeback the next day at 5:50pm(March 15). The staff was rude to her and asked her in a very rude way why didn't she came back yesterday at their time. I really don't care about the quality of their service but since she is just a house helper, your staff can be rude to her? I DO NOT recommend them, try other laundry services near the area.

ABSOLUTE SCAM PLACE!…read more I took my laundry there around end of November, 2025 for dry cleaning. He had an Armani long sleeve t-shirt that he just bought in the US. This place DAMAGED it so badly that it shrank to 1/3rd of its size. We asked for dry cleaning and it seems they just threw it into the washing machine and dryer YET charged us for dry cleaning (second time ever being dry cleaned, it was brand new). We reported it immediately to the admin and demanded compensation. The admin kept going back and forth with us for months, until we became "too much work" and just dropped us. So we took matters into our own hands and went into the store in person around mid-February, 2026. The person there said that the back-office was messaging us, not them. The store lady seemed genuinely concerned, took multiple pictures, got our number and promised a follow-up within 1-2 business days. Fast forward it has been EXACTLY 1 MONTH since then and still no follow-up whatsoever. They get rid of you any way they can when something goes wrong. There are a MILLION other laundry / dry cleaning places in Manila. Take yours elsewhere! I have all proof including all conversations that occurred. I will be taking them for small claims court. It is not worth my time but it is about the disgusting principle this business does that they ghost you and lie to you the second something goes wrong. They deserve all the bad things this business may face in the future.

My mistake was to not take photos of my clothes before sending them even though I know which clothes I was about to send out. By the time I got my clothes back, it turns out 3 of them were missing( I included 1 photo since I don't have photos of the other 2). All of them were branded shirts (don't mean to brag or something) I tried to contact them and at first I was told that everything was included in the laundry machine which didn't matter because something was missing. I tried to tell them what was missing and haven't gotten any response from them. I also called them and they were not picking up, until I decided to got to their shop and let them know. The lady who spoke to me said the same thing and was trying to convince me that it's impossible that some of my clothes were missing UNTIL the other lady told me it happens sometimes when clothes mixed up with their other clients. They even showed me a basket full of clothes (lost & found) which was returned to them by other HONEST peaople. At the end they got my details to which hotel I'm staying and contact number but I never heard from them until I left the country (which I told them that I was just on vacation). P.S. I just later found out about the bad reviews about their business, had I known it before hand I would NEVER go to this establishment. What a shame!! Esp their located in BGC.

But only one cleaner has put the environment as a top concern. This is the reason why my wife prefers the services of Panda Cleaners. They use eco-friendly products such as biodegradable detergents and eco bags. The dry cleaning service is up to standards. I had my favorite coat dry cleaned for a friend's wedding and I couldn't complain about the results. I loved the fact that my freshly cleaned coat didn't have any hint of harsh chemical additives. However, for heavily stained or grimy fabrics, I would not recommend this shop. Since Panda does not use bleach and other chemicals, totally soiled items may not be as clean as you'd like them to be after just one wash. This is what happened with my queen-size bed comforter. But somehow, I find it all understandable. Lastly, the fact that Panda Cleaners only use environment-friendly detergents make their services a bit more expensive than other laundry shops in the area. Pick up and delivery service can be availed provided your laundry hits a minimum of six kilos. Panda is open daily from 6:00am to 10:00pm.

She came back with a recept that had double the price of the regular service because they marked it as express. Though shocked, I gave them the benefit of the doubt that I may have misunderstood that 3 days meant express. So I had my helper take the jacket back ASAP, (we live close by) and decided that I would have it cleaned after I use it for my trip. They almost did not return the item and demanded that I pay 100 pesos for the receipt that they used for the transaction. Definitely would stay away from this place.

What I love about this place though is that it gives you two payment options: payment after pick-up or payment after delivery. The former would save you 10 pesos, or something like that, per kilogram.

Ever since I moved to Maginhawa, I have settle with the laundry shop right in front of my house…read more They do a great job of taking care of my clothes, but since they are a commercial laundry and dry cleaning service, and they go through a ton of dirty laundry every day, I am still pretty uncomfortable about the fact that they wash my clothes in the same machines that they have washed other clothes with - not that I'm fussy or "maarte", but I'd rather enjoy my clothes that haven't gone through the dirt and the bacteria of other people. I decided to give Quicklean a try because i saw a friend coming out of there, and she told me that they end up saving a lot of money with the DIY laundry service. The shop operates pretty much just like the coin-operated laundromats that we see in the movies. If you have time to wash your own laundry, do it here because the place is very convenient. The bulk washing machines are quite huge, and you pay for each machine that you use, unlike other shops wherein you pay per kilo. So you do end up saving money because you can cram quite a lot of clothes into each washing machine. You can bring your own detergent, bleach and fabric softener, or you can buy it from there. After washing, you pop your clothes into the dryer and wait until they come out wrinkle-free, after which you proceed to the folding tables to fold your own laundry. Though everything else is spotless and clean, and the music that they play is great, the airconditioning just couldn't handle the heat from the dryers. I was sweating the entire time I was there. However, they also have fast WiFi and I sat down there with my computer waiting for my clothes to finish running through the wash and dry cycles. I think i just have to figure out how to wash efficiently so that I make the most out of each machine, but I'll definitely be back.

The thing with doing laundry is that it never ends. It. Never. Freaking. Ends. (Unless you're ok…read morewith dirty and smelly clothes.) Enter Quicklean. It's a laundromat, plain and simple. Huge, industrial-strength washing machines and dryers are there for your disposal. PROS: convenient and easy - load your clothes in the machine, start it up, wait, unload. Repeat steps for drying. Fold; cheaper than having your laundry done. My laundry bills got from 500 to 250 a week after going here; REALLY helpful staff; you could buy your detergent and fabric softener there; WiFi; really clean; near a lot of restaurants CONS: may confuse you if you're a noob (ask and help shall be given!); lugging your dirty clothes towards Quicklean is a task on itself; you're in charge of your own stuff, so keep your eyes on it. (I didn't and that's how I lost my phone *cries*); air conditioner sometimes acts up and it gets too warm on some spots. TL;DR: Don't have your own washer and dryer? Do your own laundry here and be an actual adult. Pro-tip: For a big load, it's cheaper to use one dryer with a longer set time than two machines.
