Holy Moly! I have to give a shout out to Alterations by Soula right now. Soula is so sweet and talented (she did alterations on my wedding gown in 2019), but this morning around 10:45 a.m. I dropped off three summer dresses. I left around 11 for the dermatologist, and while at my appointment, Soula called to say I could come pick up my three dresses, they were ready! What?!? I was delighted when she originally said they'd be ready by August 20th, but just one hour later and she had completed all three items?!? Wow. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! read more

I asked to have a simple cotton t-shirt material dress hemmed only a couple of inches. she was very short and rude with me over the phone, continually interrupting me and complaining about my ask. she then said she'd charge $30 to do it but because she's "so busy and doing me a huge favor" it would be $50. the dress itself was $15 and my grandmother could hem it in 5 minutes using little thread. $50 is an insane amount to ask and i don't appreciate the way she tried guilting me into the price. I'm glad she was nice to the other people who left reviews, can't relate. read more

I trust Soula. She altered a very expensive evening dress jacket which I had bought for my daughter's wedding, bringing it down a half size, and removing a pocket. It was stunning. She's altered pant legs and replaced an elastic band skirt. She is highly skilled at her craft and surprisingly affordable and reasonably priced, much less expensive than another seamstress in my area. Her new shop is lovely and conveniently located. Do you have uniform pants that need some alterations? Maybe some patches sewn on to your uniform shirt? You can try a lot of other places, but in the end, none of them will be as good as Soula. She has worked on my uniforms for over two years now, and I have never, ever been disappointed. She does super work at a fair price, and gets it done in a timely manner.
