    I would like to begin by addressing my recent 'one' star review of this yelp business account. I…read morewas notified that my review was taken down due to lack of detail. compounded by, I think, the owner of this account said he had no record of me in his files. Last Fall I had an issue with my refrigerator. It was only three years old and stopped maintaining desired cold temperature. When the technician arrived we discussed the problem and he began troubleshooting the issue. Subsequently, he then dismantled the interior of my appliance. Then accessed the refrigerators self diagnostic system. The verdict was, it could be the mother board, but couldn't guarantee that was the problem, but a likely culprit. I decided to move forward with replacing the mother board since the unit was brand new when I purchased this home, three years earlier. After repair was completed ten days later and payment in full for parts and labor. It was apparent the mother board was not the issue and the same problem persisted. I sent a text to Angel Appliance to see if the new part was of any value and I might be prorated for it or any parts that might be useful to Angel Appliance on any future repair that they might encounter ( as I had decided to replace the appliance ). I did not receive a response to my text. After purchasing and installing a new refrigerator, I had a similar issue develop with the new unit. I called my electrician who checked my electrical panel and all was in order. However, the receptacle behind the fridge turned out to be tied in to an adjoining GFI receptacle, a definite no-no according to my electrician and the apparent source of my problem. One of the first, if not the first of troubleshooting considerations. What I've learned... I purchased this home after it was flipped subsequent to a complete remodel. I recommend to anyone who buys a flipped property to do a deep dive into infrastructure during your pre purchase home inspection, especially your electrical components. Thanks yelp, for the opportunity to resubmit a more detailed review. Also I would like to upgrade my previous review to three stars. For four reasons. 1. Yelp's support of their business account holders and their requests for review scrutiny. 2. A valuable lesson in doing in depth research. 3. The opportunity we all have to live and learn via our personal and business experiences. 4. This business account holders vigilance in monitoring his account reviews ( especially the ones that aren't 5 star ). Seriously, no need to get all defensive. I did't correct my review, I simply added more detail at Yelp's request, after my previous one was taken down, So, thanks for the opportunity to post an honest detailed review. I mean you have only three reviews on your page, Also, it wasn't three years ago, it was last Fall 2025 ( and you said I didn't exist in your files ). My point was, since it seems to have escaped you. First things first, had you done troubleshooting the simplest thing first ( the receptacle ) as my electrician indicated, "Should have been one of the first, if not the very first" thing to look at. We both could have saved lots of time and money. A three star review seems quite adequate. Enjoy! And congratulations 50 years in business!

Please take the time to read this review. This situation is one that is very positive and I want to shout from the mountain tops. In the last several years I have had the need to replace all of my kitchen and laundry room appliances. This was done with a local appliance store located in Howell NJ. They have been in buisness forever and my positive experiences are the reasons why. Mighty Youngs appliance. They have a web site www.getyoungs.com. During the pandemic I even purchased a clothes dryer site unseen from them over the phone 732-363-0466. Only requirement was it needed to match my previously purchased washing machine. The entire staff are so very helpful. They provide a more personalized level of service. Their prices are most times better than the big box stores. From the purchase to the delivery to the installation and leaving my home in pristine condition afterwards. As luck would have it my most recent purchases included a refrigerator that had some problems. Fred is the owner and also does most of the service calls. He has been in the buisness forever and has a vast array of knowledge. He is amazing in every way imaginable. Positive Customer Service does not even come close to describing Fred. Unfortunately the refrigerator was not repairable and needed to be replaced. Fred and his staff took care of every aspect of the swap and install of the replacement. Fred's upbeat attitude and never giving up and wanting my experience to be positive made what could have been a very negative situation ok. As far as I'm concerned there is no other place to purchase an appliance. Save yourself the time and energy and go right to Mighty Young's.

    We've used Ron's twice in the past and have been happy with the service. Only now, that we've…read morereceived terrible service did I start to read reviews and experience exactly what the 1 star reviews are referring to. This past Saturday, our dishwasher broke so we called Ron's, knowing they are not open on weekends. We were pleasantly surprised to receive a text from Ron the next day (Sunday) advising someone would contact us Monday morning. By mid-morning on Monday we had not heard so I called and Ron answered. I explained our issue and asked when a tech could be sent to diagnose/fix the machine, or tell us it was "shot". Just like in the 1 star reviews, Ron sounded annoyed that we called and followed up. He was not rude per se, but certainly "short"...definitely sounded like he was being bothered. Anyway, he said someone would come by that day between 3p - 5p. I was thrilled to hear we would get such fast service, BUT explained both my wife and I had appointments between 3p-4p. He said the repairman would call us and we would speak directly with him. The repairman did call around 1pm and said he'd be here at 4pm. We explained we'd be out and he said he'd be here by 2pm. I figured that would be fine because he likely would need to diagnose the issue and order parts so the repair likely wouldn't be complete, but at least the process would be underway. 2pm came/went....no repairman and wife and I left for our appointments, but we were back shortly after 4pm. Using caller ID, we called the repairman and asked when he was coming. His reply: "I'm not coming today, I just finished a job and am too far away." No apology. Nothing even close, but he said we would be his 1st appointment today/Thursday, 8/28/2025. That's when I started reading these reviews. I wanted to cancel and call another company, but wife wanted to give them a chance since they did good by us in the past. So, here we are on Thursday and finally, at 11am, we call him and ask when is his approximate arrival time. He said he wasn't coming today, now he will come tomorrow morning....like this is all we have to do is wait for him. We told him, don't bother, YOUR FIRED! I called a friend who recently had their dishwasher repaired and who raved about their guy. He gave me his contact info. I called and this guy was soooo nice and patient. I told him when we turn on the dishwasher, immediately it sounds like someone is inside banging to get out. I turned it on with the phone on Speaker so he could hear it. He was immediately able to tell me the dishwasher would cost more to repair in parts/labor than it was worth since it was already almost 10 years old. He didn't rush us off the phone, he recommended certain brands over others. He doesn't sell appliances so there was nothing for him to gain, except our future business...which he will get. We are done with Ron's and I advise everyone reading this to go elsewhere.

He even told me that the only damage to the appliance was a small dent on the side, which he pointed out. Unfortunately, this turned out to be false. The appliance they delivered and installed was faulty and flooded our home, causing over $100,000 in damage. The owner, Andy Han, came to our house and we have a video of him promising to reimburse us. We asked about going through insurance, he said he would pay out of pocket. He quickly took the washer/dryer back, assuring us he would follow up once we assessed the damage. But we even had to dispute the purchase amount through our credit card just to get a refund. One year later and numerous attempts to contact him and after hiring a lawyer at our expense, there has been no follow-up or any reimbursement from him. His website still falsely claims that every appliance is tested. This business is deceptive, dishonest, and irresponsible. Avoid DH Appliances 4 Less at all costs. (Had to give it a star to review - needless to say zero stars)
