There are stairs, and also a disabled access ramp up to the building,but once inside it seems little more than a room with leaflets, and 2 windows where if you're lucky you'll find someone to help with any enquiries. To be fair tho, the town doesnt have a great deal to offer in the way of tourist attractions, so they'd have to be doing a sterling job to make it seem more exciting! There is a large free car park behind the information centre so parking is no difficulty and being in the centre of town gives you the opportunity to investigate the rest of town once you've got your 'information'. read more

located right in the centre of town, and on the main route from the car park into town, so very easy to spot for newcomers to the area. The information centre also doubles up as a local council office, so sometimes there are queues. The is a vast array of leaflets, and the staff are helpful if you have any enquiries about anything to do with the town. It is slightly above street level, so provides a nice look out onto the grass area between the information centre and the road. There is a very useful large map outside the centre itself, so even if there are queues, you dont have to go in to find out where you are! read more
