They always offer samples, and are smart to do so because you WILL be back for more. If you love gourmet chocolate, you absolutely must try their imported chocolates. They're right up there with the best gourmet chocolates - forget Godiva, go for Hashem's. They're cheaper and more delicious. You know how when you receive a box of chocolates and you start eating them but you really only like a couple flavors in the box? Not so with Hashem's. I've tried a dozen or so different ones so far and have loved almost all of them - and I am fairly picky about chocolate - no novelty chocolate for me. My absolute favorite are the pistachio cream squares with the gold wrapper. If you're looking for a great gift, buy a pretty box somewhere, then fill it with an assortment of these wonderful chocolates. They're $19.99/lb but seem to average out to about a dollar each (some less, some more) in my experience. Well worth it and a bargain compared to the $3-4/chocolate that gourmet chocolate makers charge. A couple visits ago, I received samples of both the mulberry Turkish delight and rose halawa. I don't normally care for Turkish delight much, but that one was flavorful and delicious. The halawa is a sweet with an interesting flaky texture that melts in your mouth. It was so interesting (in a very good way!) that I had to go back for more and try other flavors (pistachio and chocolate) - all were great but I think I liked the rose best so far (and I don't normally like rose flavor!). Next, I think I'll try coffee. The nuts are great too. I've tried a couple of the pistachio varieties. All in all, Hashem's is a very unique little store and a true treasure of the community.

I was blown away to find that nothing has changed. Think about that: COVID broke the world, but Super Greenland held the line on prices, while still offering fantastic variety and quality. You can still get a bag of 8 of the freshest pitas you've ever eaten for $1.49: they're so fresh the bag still has steam in it. The baba ganoush is smoky and freshly made for only $3.49 a pound. Other deli offerings are similarly priced, and high quality. I'm not exaggerating when I say they have hundreds of spices and seasonings. I don't think twice about spending $4 for 1 ounce of cinnamon sticks at the supermarket; here, $4 gets you 6 ounces of cinnamon sticks. They have an entire aisle devoted to pickled things here. If it can be pickled, they have it here. And, do I have to tell you how much cheaper it is here than anywhere else? Oh, and do you like baklava? Of course you do. The variety of that alone is also impressive. I sometimes forget that this is also a regular grocery store. The produce is high quality, and nicely priced. With all the phenomenal middle eastern things here, I'm strangely disappointed that they also have boring things like Froot Loops, Ragu pasta sauce, and other mundane things. It's sort of like the opposite of the "international aisle" at a normal supermarket. I gave Super Greenland a great review before, but I actually think I sold them short.

We've been customers since opening visit a couple times each month for the lowest prices on Fruits and Veggies around town. A super selection of hot food ready to go or eat inside the dining area. Love the Authentic Lebanese food on the cheap, half price any restaurant. Got a favorite Mulukhiya it's Greens with Chicken , I compare to Collard Greens OMG. She had the Kousa Mashi outstanding stuffed Squash Wowed . We shared Deep Fried Kibbie and a Mixed Shawarma sandwich always a winner. Also a order of the Rice with Lamb and Cashews so addictive Yummy . I got some Armenian Sujuk and Toum Garlic Sauce for great prices. Super busy open till close 9-9 everyday, parking lot always filled. 6 cashier's working hard to check customers out. A must visit for super savings especially on Wild Wednesday. They were tasty and there were so many different kinds. I personally really liked the lemon cashews. They also have Turkish pistachios that were wonderful. Definitely give them a visit and support this business. The owner is very kind-hearted and welcoming. He was very nice and easy to talk to. We enjoyed conversing with him. They do provide plastic bags, but if you're picky like me and don't want it to be condensating, bring a cloth or paper bag to maximize the crispy bits. The bread is hand made and so it's thinner in the middle, and thicker on the outside rim. The outside is chewier compared to the crispy-wafer like interior. We also got the shish kabob, the shish tekka beef and shish tekka chicken. We also picked up a grilled fish. The kabob was very tender and juicy, with a charred outside, and the chicken tekka came by a close second as it was so juicy and flavorful. The tekka beef was a little gristly, but still very delicious. As the chef was pulling them off the skewers, he gave the meat a final sprinkle of seasonings. The meat came with two whole grilled tomatoes and three whole grilled small onions. I'm not sure how you're supposed to eat them since the onions still have their skins and roots attatched, while the tomatoes was very, very juicy. The fish was butterflied and grilled with similar spices added. It's still bone in, so nne careful while eating it! It was cooked perfectly.
