Simple haircut but he said he couldn't do the hot towel shave because he didn't have any towels prepared. He didn't talk during the whole haircut, which was fine, but he almost seemed slightly annoyed that I was interrupting his time by being there. After he finished I asked him how much and he said $30. I showed him my credit card (I didn't have cash) and he said he would have to charge me the credit card service fee. I said that is fine and he charged me $39. $9 for a CC service fee? I said thanks and goodbye and he didn't respond, just turned around and didn't say anything. No receipt and no goodbye or anything. I felt like I was being an inconvenience to his time and then being overcharged $9 for a service fee. The haircut and experience was absolutely NOT worth $39, nor the feeling that I was a burden to him. I will definitely not be going back. It really seems like the other barbers were smiling, interactive, and happy to be there. Maybe I just got the guy who was having a bad day. Either way, I won't be back.

Well this time, I decided to give them a shot. I made an appointment with Malik and went in for a clean up. He not only cleaned up the lines and trimmed up the mess my hair was becoming, but also did a great job cleaning up my beard too.
