First of all, if you pulled in here, turn around and leave. Second of all, make sure that when they say they are open, someone is actually there to open the store. I went 3 times only to show up to open hours, and no one there. Bought a Groupon? Better know how much you paid for it and be prepared to show so that the guys working can properly upcharge you to STILL make you come out of pocket. The overall feeling of discomfort while waiting to to get finished is only alleviated by the mechanic's sidearm exposed from his coveralls while working. Decided to give this place a try because I was in a hurry. Sign says $16.95 oil change but I knew it wouldnt be that low. I usually pay around $28-32.00 because supposedly my 2019 Escape requires synthetic oil. I should have known when I said it was my first time here and he didnt ask me my information that something felt off. He checked my air filter and nothing else, no cap off of fluids, tire pressure check or any of the basics. When it was done he said $49.95, I said what?? I guess I needed an extra oil and service fees! But hey he threw in a free air freshener! I definitely wont go back. If Im paying that much for an oil change I better be getting something more than an air freshener! I wish I would have read the yelp reviews ahead of time I never would have went. Wow if I could give this place 0 stars I truly would. I drove 20 mins to this place because of a great Groupon deal where I'd get a full synthetic oil change for 36.45. Before coming I planned on only paying the 3 dollar service fee only and the rest was already paid thru Groupon. The first thing that happened was up selling. I was told I needed a flush because my engine was gunky. He told me I needed it every 50k miles and I just passed 50k so I do go right ahead. +$20 Next he came back and offered an air filter. I refused the air filter then he came back a few moments later telling me he had a great deal to pay 16 bucks for it and Also said I really needed it because my gas mileage was suffering. I didn't notice anything with my mileage but once again after being pressed I said go ahead. Upon being rushed out of the service garage and having paying an unplanned 48.67 I realized I had been got. I went back in the shop to have a word with the owner about why was the price of the oil change added onto the receipt, when that part was already paid thru Groupon. He told me I would have to figure that out with Groupon, and I asked him what he meant by that. He told me that is Groupon not him. I next asked him to show me the filthy air filter, that he was quick to throw away without showing me during my service. That filter was virtually brand new still and at that point I was pretty upset that the owner himself scammed me. Next I told the owner I'd be leaving poor reviews on every site possible and spreading the word about what he did. Dishonest Up selling, as well as not honoring the Groupon promotion in which he signed up for. When I refused to leave the store, he called the police telling them "someone would be shot" if they don't get there soon. At this point he began yelling in a different language and I notice his workers begin to exit the garage into their cars. He leaves out yelling in a language I couldn't understand again and retreats to his car as well. I go to my car to wait for the police because I feel unsafe. Where I'm from when people leave the scene to go to their cars they usually come back with a weapon. Eventually 3 police cars come, they ask what happened and I explain the same story. They told me they came with so many officers because of the threat made by the owner over the phone. Police could not do anything for me other than tell me I'd need to file a civil suit, and also tell me I have to leave his property. Never again. Asked for a full service oil Change, they aired up my tires and changed the oil - that was it. Did not check my other fluids, grease door hinges or check wipers. Nothing. Then charged me for a lot of extra stuff. Told me it would be $17 charged me $30. Never even told me my service was done just walked away and left me sitting there... After I left within one hour my "oil change required" light came back on and it stayed on... Won't even bother going back because I just don't trust there service techs. Definitely going back to pennzoil. read more

Stay away-HORRIBLE! He talked me into replacing the fuel filter which he installed backwards. He also kinked the line and soon it cut off fuel flow leaving us stranded in Ohio on the way to our honeymoon. It cost us over $700 to get going again and we never made it to our honeymoon, had to reschedule. Still more repairs needed. Owner refuses to accept any responsibility, claims fine print on work order says he isn't liable. Considering lawsuit. read more

They did not completely change your oil. After the oil change the oil still dark. They are running a scam so avoid this place. When I asked the owner why the oil is still dark he started to argue with me. Anyway avoid this place and save your money. read more

Did a great job! I'm in my 20's and a woman so usually other oil change places try to over sell me. This place did great! They checked tires used the oil I wanted and did an all around great job! They told me the price before I started. Highly recommend! read more

*CAUTION** STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! I went to this Oil Change in the late fall, Paid $52.00 for an oil change because my 4 cylinder 2013 Chevrolet Sonic required "special" oil. Never heard of this before at any other place, but said no problem and paid. They re-filled all my fluids and filled up the washer fluid completely cause it was empty. 2 months later, it starts getting cold and no windshield fluid is coming out. I needed it badly to help defrost the ice. Thought it was strange because I haven't used it much since the oil change. I ended up taking it to a mechanic just to find out that the crap Five Star put into my windshield wiper fluid tank was CHEAP watered down garbage that froze in my lines and burned my PUMP! I ended up paying a couple hundred dollars to have it fixed. I called this Five Star Oil Change place multiple times, spoke to guys named "Hass, Moe, and another guy who claimed to be the manager, cant remember his name" they all told me they couldn't help me and took down my info and said the owner would call me to help resolve this problem. Never received a call... I watched the mechanic empty out the slush that came out of my lines with my own eyes. He wrote me a report and I have a receipt for the repair. Went to get a oil change noticed an immediate attitude from one of the employees! He was rushing me into th the doc and not very attentive to my needs. Then he proceed to call my vehicle a piece of shit in another language, my Fiancé knew what he was saying so I told him to stop and close my hood and I drove off. I went to another place to get my oil change and they were very professional. I will never do business with al again. I hope that people read and never do business with them! NOT GOOD!! By the looks of my oil, I think they left half of the old oil in the engine. Also they installed the wrong air filter. This caused our mass air flow sensor to go bad. Had to pay the dealership $125 for a new sensor AND a new air filter. EXTREMELY rude manager also!!!! read more

Don't go here. Dishonest and pressure to do potentially unnecessary services. Even though I had changed my oil on time, he stated I needed an engine flush which I refused. Then he said I needed a transmission fluid change which I agreed to for $49.95. Then he says later after he is done that the charge was $159! Went in for an oil change and they only "pretended" to change it. He went through all of the motions but there was no way to see what he was doing. I questioned him about the Oil still being black after he had finished and he said the engine was very dirty. I had it double checked by two people immediately after I left and they both confirmed nothing had been done. Stay away! read more
