Awful service! The guy who answered the phone was rude and unprofessional and became irritated as I asked questions about their services.

Steinway Piano Gallery - Student Rentals

    Steinway Piano Gallery

While this is not a review of the gallery, it is a review of the piano movers who recently moved my…read moreYamaha. I was actually looking for piano movers, and Steinway didn't surface. Since their gallery is fairly close to my home, I called them and asked if they moved pianos within a home. They do provide this service, and I hired them to move my piano. I found the movers to be very knowledgeable about my piano. In addition, they were very careful and professional. I'm so happy I chose them. If you need to have a piano moved, consider calling Steinway first.

First off, I cannot believe there aren't any reviews for this store! When I went, it was filled…read morewith people testing out the pianos. I guess I'll be the first to put in a good word for this piano gallery. Before I went, I had research a bit about pianos. I read that Steinway was elite, superior, etc., etc. Of course, any company looking to lure in prospective customers will give that pitch. It wasn't until I actually took some time to go to the gallery that I saw: it's not just a sales pitch! It was refreshingly true. The gallery is open, but still has a lot of pianos and good varieties of pianos and keyboards alike. The gallery is thouroughly organized with an open room for upright, baby grand, and grand pianos that are not Steinways (such as Yamaha or Kawai), a room exclusively for Steinways, a back room for recitals complete with concert Steinway grands (painstakingly beautiful instruments... drool...), and a room for electronic keyboard and such. Nice! There was no confusion as to where anything was located. Stars, stars, and more stars for that, Steinway Gallery! The service was also excellent. I went in and tested out a few pianos to compare sounds. After a short while, the manager himself (Matthew Bird) spent a great deal of time to explain EVERYTHING about the pianos- I mean everything. He explained the manufacturing and how it affects the sound, the country of origins, the different brands and their unique idiosyncrasies, what truly makes Steinway pianos the most elite, and even told stories about how the wood itself is chosen for different pianos. He spent a good hour and a half (if not MORE) explaining all of the questions I had. He even test-played the pianos for me (because I am a bit shy test-playing them myself). He was kind, talkative, and patient. He showed me the recital room (there was a recital in progress so I couldn't test the insane 9 foot concert grands... Oh well) and the Steinway room. I was able to test out several Steinways and he explained the years when they were built and how each might sound different due to its make. Very, very thorough. I didn't feel odd or pressured to purchase anything at all. I also didn't feel watched or uncomfortable. I don't think anybody in the store did; there were other people in the store testing pianos, which is actually uncommon in many music stores these days, sadly. So even though the gallery may look intimidatingly elite and expensive, I found it to be a very relaxed place that conducts business with dignity, patience, and concern for the customers' needs and questions. I definitely would like to go there again and I walked away understanding the make of pianos and Steinways much better.

This company is uninsured and doesn't answer but will text lies about reimbursement all day. They…read morewere hired as a moving gift by a friend in August 2017 and ended up ruining one part of each piece of our furniture they packed. When the friend reached out the owner Joey Andros stated he would refund $1,000 (which doesn't do much considering the damage done). He paid 500$ in September then said he'd pay the other 500$ (plus the 325$ cost for hiring them) the following month. We haven't seen anymore money and he won't answer the phone. Once he started ignoring our friend/realtor that hired him I reached out to him. He was rude and yelled with all caps in the message. His reply to where the final re-payment is was this (word for word if I could post the screenshot of the message I would) so this is from Joey the owner who's big enough to text but can't answer any phone calls: "The $325 that you're referring to has NOTHING to do with you. You can attempt "legal ramifications" all day long. I dont advertise as having insurance nor did I guarentee a perfect move. You received $500 without any professional valuations or estimates. I will pay the $500 to you. But it will be when I CAN. I apologize for the inconveniences this has caused" So just be aware that he (comically) doesn't guarantee a perfect move nor does he have insurance to back his movers when they fail miserably. We sent pictures of multiple damages and he said that was enough to realize they messed up and he wrote a text stating he knew he needed to reimburse the move fee of 325 plus 1000 to damages. JOEY- you have no defense. She told you we weren't going to pay for someone to evaluate the damages (Thatd just be more out of pocket that we shouldn't have to front) but we DID send pictures of some damages just to get started showing you what all y'all ruined. THEN "YOU" ACCEPTED the photos as enough reason to "start paying on damages" as you put it. So while you scrabble to pay up we have to just "deal with it". Nice try though.

Total NO SHOW on day of scheduled move! I contacted & spoke…read moreto owner himself 3 weeks prior to move. I confirmed date of move thru his website as requested. I contacted owner again 2 days before move to confirm move & method of payment required. Saturday morning 9a.m., (day of move) nobody shows. I call at least 6 times within the next 2 hours, email, & leave several voice mails. No answer, no response, nothing! No body ever showed up & nobody ever contacted me since to offer any explanation, excuse, or apology. We were concerned the crew had been in an accident on the way! So all we can surmise are the following possibilities: 1. Owner was thrown & Jail & could not fulfill commitment 2. Owner was in accident & could not fulfill commitment. 3. Owner is just a total Jerk & does not care how he treats customers. Since we could not get any answer or apology, we are still wondering. They have 4.5 stars on Google, but do not believe it! By the way, we made a frantic calls to all the local movers to try to rescue us. The sweet lady at Guerra Brothers Movers bent over backward to help put a crew together to rescue us! She sent out Jesus & Sam & they worked hard for 6 hours & we were so happy with them! So, if you are still reading, Integrity Movers = no good. Guerra Brothers Movers saved the day! Hope this helps someone out there! Good luck.
