If you plan to order the Big Al breakfast, you better bring a serious appetite and really - and I mean really - appreciate sausage gravy, because these folks are not kidding around. Also they have good coffee, and gas, and clean tables. read more

My brother and I stopped here on the way home to Virginia. We each got a sub. I only ate half of it and saved the rest for the next day to eat ate the local hospital while our mom had a medical procedure. A man working at the desk walked over and said that he wanted to ask me something. "Where did I buy that sub?" He said that it looked so good and he could tell that it was a homemade roll. I happily gave him and information. He said that it was very important for him to know! read more

Al's Corner is gas station in Koppel, Pa . But its gas is not what the locals buzz about. This gas station surprises those from out of town with its exceptional pizza offerings. While some may debate whether it is the best pizza in the area, it is undeniable that it is a strong contender as the best. The pizzas at Al's Corner are known for their delectable taste, well-balanced toppings, and high-quality ingredients. The pizzas at Al's Corner are topped generously with a variety of ingredients, ensuring that each bite is filled with flavor. The cheese used is of the finest quality, melting perfectly over the toppings and creating a harmonious blend of flavors. The red sauce used on these pizzas is sweet but not overpowering, adding just the right amount of sweetness to complement the other ingredients. What sets Al's Corner apart from other pizza joints is its ability to provide customers with a fantastic pizza experience despite being located within a gas station. The quality of the ingredients and the care taken in preparing the pizzas make it one of the better pizza options in the area. The facility hosts a clean work place for their workers and I highly recommend getting a whole pizza. If I were to change only one thing I would ask/have the pizza be more on the done side for the bottom of the crust, however that is all personal preference. read more

Wonderful place and such friendly employees. Food was awesome. Wish we had a place like this closer to home.

Two thumbs way up. Would poop here again! Clean restrooms high quality h20 to wash those hands with. Oh and grab a 'roni roll best around. Plus selection & price of snacks and the local bottled pop is top notch. Not sure how the subway is in business because Al's sandwiches are so much better than that chain made junk. Gas pumps are accurate & the paper is never out in the printer which is great for proof to my boss I grabbed gas too. The employees are great too! If you have a sense of humor you'll get a good laugh! Yinz need to stop in this hidden gem on 18! read more

Good is good just not happy when they have specials they don't make enough use to have nice ladies work their now it's young kids that don't care read more

We just stumbled into Al's needing a break from driving. My wife had beef tips over noodles with their homemade gravy. It was delicious. I had a meatball sub. The meatballs and sauce were excellent. We also had a bowl of chicken gumbo soup which was very tasty. The staff was great and very helpful. Excellent homemade style of food at a very reasonable price. Reason enough to stop near beaver falls. read more

The prices are outrageous now, out of the blue. Used to be awesome and I sucked it up because of great people and good food, but I can't spend $21 on a pulled pork sandwich, side of Mac n cheese and 2 gatorades. Outrageous. Daily customer lost. read more

Such great food! I got the buffalo chicken sandwich and my father got their sausage sandwich, and we both loved them! read more

No one was wearing masks in here- but even the food prep folded at the lunch counter. We got gas and decided to pass on the advertised sandwiches which seemed to include an opportunity to get infected. read more

Al's is a gas station, tiny grocery, and sandwich shop all in one. If you are headed east on the PA Turnpike, Al's is going to be the first gas you encounter in Pennsylvania (and you are going to need gas since the last service plaze on the Ohio Turnpike is being rebuilt). From exit 13, take the ramp right for PA-18 / New Castle / Ellwood City. Al's will be 1.3 miles ahead on the right. I love that the fountain drinks (Coke products) are priced at 47 cents, so you can get a Coke for 50 cents with tax. The deli offers hot pizza and a variety of sandwiches. Al's feature a better-than-average selection of grocery products. read more

Al's Corner - Corner of 351 and 18 in Koppel - Grocery Near Me - Koppel, Pennsylvania

Sign on interstate 76 heading west shows this as a 24 hour gas stop. Arrived a little after 11 to a red haired lady screaming at me that they were closed. Very rude lady. They then turned the lights off. Perhaps the sign should be changed. read more

First gas stop of the trip on this busy little corner of Koppel PA. The inside of this place is pretty nice, with a cafe-type setting and lots of options for food and whatnot. Definitely able to find pretty much anything you'd want as far as either cafe goods or convenience store goods are concerned. The real gem of this place was the men's bathroom: decorative brick tiles, hardwood trim and full-length doors, strawberry-scented brand name Softsoap - this is nicer than the bathroom at my apartment. read more

I recommend stopping here, great staff very clean I hate stopping on long trips for gas but this was very pleasant the bathrooms were clean

I had a meatball sandwich from here and ended up ingesting mold would not recommend ever eating from this establishment

The sandwich was dry as hell, I threw it away after the first bite. Ruthann also had a attitude for no reason. This place is trash.

I recommend to never ever go to this place. It's completely disgusting. The management of the place is awful, food is left out all day with flies around it and sitting on it, the food is not stored at correct temperatures, my food was cold and the bread was hard because it was sitting for so long; they are so overpriced it's not worth it at all. None of the kitchen employees wear gloves, I've seen it before (who knows if they even wash their hands after using the restroom), their restrooms are the worst, you can tell they do not care about them to keep them clean, toilet paper all over the floor, stained walls it's so disgusting, DO NOT let the dim lights full you. read more

It's nice to have a gas station in the small town of Koppel due to it sits in between a long trek between towns where they are far between.

During a long trip I think everyone's worse nightmare is stopping for gas and having to use a restroom out in the middle of God only knows where! Al's corner was great! Bathrooms are extremely clean and eatery is well maintained. I did not have their food only because I was not hungry however based on their cleanliness, I would have definitely enjoyed a slice of pizza. They are lucky too! Played a scratch off and won $4.00! Lol! read more

Pizza is a no no....sauce is yucky. Italian subs are so so if you like a lot of bread and very little meat and bologna on your Italian sub which I don't. The gas prices are extremely high, pop is expensive candy is expensive so nice you lots of money don't stop here waa q read more

Al's Corner is the best gas station out there. They have gas, sure, but it's whats inside that makes this place special. I stop by to get lunch or breakfast on my way to work sometimes, and I've only had one item I didn't care for. The two times I've got wraps there they've been soggy, so I can't say I suggest you try them. The soup, coleslaw, pizza, and sandwiches are always good. They also have a selection of basic grocery items(including some produce... Need a head of lettuce with your gas, condoms, and lottery tickets? Al's Corner can supply you with each!) larger than most gas stations, although the highlight of the store is obviously the $.47 fountain machine. Their clerks are friendly most of the time unlike most of the gas stations around, and if you look at the receipt they claim to have the best gas around. I'm not sure what qualifies them to make that statement, but my car doesn't seem to notice the difference between the gas at Al's Corner and the gas at anyone else's corner. read more

Reasonably priced. Great service. Local products. Highly recommended!

they have some of the worst ignorant employees ever. minus a select few. would recommend just trying to push it for sheetz
