As fortune would have it I heard an advertisement on KGLN about a company from Grand Junction and thought I would give them a shot. The owner, Chad with Pride Plumbing made a special trip to my home and was very impressed with his professionalism and knowledge. He worked with me on the price and suggestions on what was best needed for my house and I signed an agreement on the spot. The crew arrived on time and ready to go. They got started immediately and throughout the entire installation they would explain what was being done and I probably drove them crazy with all my questions. But they were patient and would stop to address my concerns. At the finish of the project they went above and beyond to even clean the old copper pipe to make it match the newer piping. They Did a FANTASTIC job on time and on budget. I want to commend those two techs: DERRICK FLINT and Isaiah their professionalism and kindness. That goes a long way for a satisfied customer. There is a callout fee of $97, which is in addition to time & materials. Payment is required upon completion of the work, and the service includes a one-year warranty on materials and workmanship. Pride Plumbing uses a flat-rate pricing structure, so if you need itemized estimates or invoices separating materials and labor for an insurance claim (Xactimate), be aware of this limitation. They are not the cheapest option, but I believe the quality justifies the cost. Like many in the industry, they try to upsell additional services, whether necessary or not. Overall, I'd call Pride Plumbing again, especially for an emergency.

As the following indicates, Monarch has seriously devolved in quality. We purchased a 5-figure HVAC AC/Furnace unit in June 2024 for a residence. We were told that this purchase and installation came with two free unit Services (Fall and Spring of the upcoming year). We were provided the 1st unit Service, at which time we were informed by the Servicer that the entire old furnace had been left by their installers in our attic for over 7-months, collecting dust and adding weight to our rafters. We then had to schedule to have this removed, and be further inconvenienced. An avoidable oversight that shows their QA/QC. When it came time for our 2nd unit Service (in the Spring of 2025), we left three message before receiving a call back. When we did finally get a call back, we were told that what was included in our original purchase agreement (and was outlined in our Contract), was not going to be honored. The receptionist also expressed that they've been having difficulty finding enough staff to keep up with necessary service calls, to which we responded that it is understandable but should not negate our Contract. Instead of honoring our purchase agreement and the Contract, we were told that we would be charged for our 2nd Service. We were also told by the receptionist that we were outside of our 12-month Servicing Agreement (It was only 11-months, as the Receipts I sent to Toby, the owner, clearly outlined). When we inquired as to what their records indicated was the date of purchase, we were told by the receptionist that her records didn't indicate the purchase date, and she had only been there for 3 weeks. She then proceeded to hang up on us...again, we are the customer. After emailing copies of the receipts (showing the date of purchase, and that we were well within the 12-months) and highlighting the content of the Agreement that indicates what was to be included, Toby expressed that they would not be honoring the Contract (thus Breaching it), and that our account was now "flagged." Again, there are many HVAC service providers in the Grand Valley; we recommend avoiding ones who can't staff appropriately, struggle with accountability, have extremely poor customer service (e.g., who hangs up on a customer because the facts that are shared support what is owed to the customer?!?), and don't honor their agreements. Do better for yourself and your property by avoiding Monarch.

For you contractors looking at them to install your HVAC yes they are the cheap but you get what you pay for. Absolutely the worst HVAC company I've ever dealt with.
