I haven't written a review in a long time and its time to catch up from the summer. I went to Grande Cache on a Mountain Biking excursion and just wanted a cheap place to stay. Alpine fits the bill, but leaves a lot to be desired. The room is a cavernous, cement shell that gets poor light and half the lights in the room didn't work. It was also cold since it was like a cave in the summer. No need for A/C here. The breakfast in the restaurant I had was rather blah. If I were to ever go again to Grande Cache, I'd pony up the extra money and stay elsewhere. read more

This is now Aurora Sushi. When my boyfriend and I moved to Grande Cache from the city, one thing we really missed was going for Japanese food! This place is definitely comparable to good sushi restaurant we had living in the city! The spring rolls are incredible and they have some very unique and interesting rolls, as well as the best fish tacos I've ever had! read more

Didn't stay here, just had dinner at Aurora Sushi. My wife and I had the "deluxe assortment", and there wasn't a disappointment in the bunch. All fresh, all well made. Service was polite but not very attentive. Overall definitely a good place for dinner though. read more
