I recently had a beautiful aspen tree massacred by another tree servicing company and I contacted…read moreTSH to see if they might be able to find a suitable replacement or if they had any other suggestions for my situation. Derek from TSH was kind enough to pay a visit to look at the tree and to talk with me. Although it was hopeless by the time he saw it and he was unable to do a special dance and hand wave to magically make the limbs sprout out again, I still do appreciate his willingness to listen and to show empathy about my situation, the circumstances behind it and what a big deal that this was to me. He treated me respectfully and it was obvious that he sincerely understood my feelings on the matter. Unlike my prior experience with the other person, he didn't cop a dismissive, know-it-all, can't-be-bothered attitude like I was some over reactive curmudgeon with nothing better to do than to whine about his precious little aspen tree. Thank you kindly for your patience and courtesy, Mr Bluhm. I wish that the complex would have used TSH in the first place.

Horrible Customer Service!!!…read more I have never left a review of a business before but felt it was necessary due to the horrible way we have been treated by Ethos Landscaping Co in Vail and particularly one of the owners, Dave Probst. They were more than happy the last 3 years to bill us over $50,000 for trees, bushes, boulders, etc.. But how about service after the sale??? One of the 3 evergreens they planted has never done very well and because I had a warranty on it, Dave assured me he would replace it the next growing season and then he said that he was going to watch it and now I've called and texted him repeatedly and he's ignoring me! I've called the office numerous times and talked to the receptionist Colleen (who was very nice) and she keeps telling me that she's giving him my messages and has no clue why he won't call me back. This has been going on over 3 months and I am fed up with his total lack of taking care of customers like me! I paid promptly and have bent over backwards to be nice and now I'm thoroughly disappointed in the company! Maybe if you're a huge Vail customer they will take care of you but I would never ever recommend them to anyone!!!!!!!

Sorry to say can't recommend this company! Seriously DO NOT USE!!! Came quickly for a quote but…read moreit was extremely high so their option was to use recycled asphalt..ok - won't last near as long but half the price so seemed reasonable. Was quoted for 4" of product over the entire driveway. What I got...1/4". Yes they sprayed it and initially it looked ok but as soon as I walked on it it was just like gravel ( what we had initially!) a few spots ( paint can sized) with 1" or so and that's holding up ok... so called them and They came and sprayed again with little difference- sadly. When I asked them to come out again they said I was the last customer before the winter, they had put their equipment away and to call next spring. Well you guessed it, it's next spring- I have called three times- they said they would return my call and haven't.... scammed big time- huge waste of money - probably $50 worth of product layed for $5000. Posted a picture on their website because it looks ok. But SOO deceiving!! DO NOT use this company unless you want a crappy job and a whole lot of headaches... next step......BBB complaints, Channel 7 consumer alerts? Court?.... ugh

Our property manager had obtained an estimate that seemed unusually high, so I contacted Christian at Beetle Kill Tree Guys. He was incredibly friendly and willing to come out to Eagle County to provide a bid -- which came in at half the price of the original estimate. Our HOA ultimately decided to have them perform a full property cleanup, including removing dead trees, grinding stumps, trimming messy new shoots around the cottonwoods, and raising canopies to improve the overall health and appearance of the grounds. They did a PHENOMENAL job. It's rare to find such reliable and high-quality service providers in this area. Christian and his team were exceptional -- responsive, professional, and thorough. I highly recommend Beetle Kill Tree Guys!
