Today I picked up my lounge chair that had the seam ripped on it. I called beforehand and asked about a repair. They said bring it in, for which I did. She said she might not be able to match the color, but that she would do her best. I did ask if they could sew it back up, for which she said it had sun damage.
Actually its just a little faded, but it tore at the seam i replied.
3 weeks plus later, I get the lounger back and it is horrible. I am not pleased with this work, doesn't even appear to be sewn by a professional. So I complain and was attacked for not appreciating the job that I paid for, now it's my fault because they say they only do alterations on clothing and basically I should know better.
If they couldn't do the job, they should have informed me instead of insulting me.
If they plan on continuing to do business in this small town, I would suggest they at least put in the effort and if they cannot perform the task, dont take the position that you can.
I will not be giving them anymore of my business and I would tell those that do, not a good choice. read more
