The exterior beams were in poor shape and I was nervous about how the existing paint would be adequately removed. From providing an excellent quote to the final walkthrough after the job was done, I had an amazing experience with the company. I had regular contact with both the owner and the project manager throughout the entire project. They stuck to the promised timeline, used high quality paint, and did an all-around amazing job. I was incredibly impressed at how thoroughly the house was prepped before the job - they spent hours going around with a razor, scraping off loose bits of paint. As a result, my previously terrible-looking 60-year-old beams and cedar siding look as good as new! The painters were also very courteous and tidy, and did not leave any paint messes to clean up afterwards. My house looks incredible, the financing process was easy, and I will absolutely hire SwiftHand for any future paint jobs I have.

They didn't fill holes, cover scuffs, and culk. On top of not prepping before paint they didn't prime raw would but just painted over it so now it has a rough texture and will need to be sanded down and primed. They also painted our interior doors and left command hooks on them and just decided to paint over them. After communicating these mistakes to the owners they became very defensive and said it wasn't a part of their contract to prep. Soon they figured out that indeed it said on their contract that prep was included and they screwed up. Instead of owning it and fixing it they offered me to fix all the mistakes and take some money off the final price. I told them that they should fix the mistakes or we can part ways. Management chose to part ways instead of owning up and fixing their mistakes. Like I said the company was great to work with until they made a mistake. I would NOT RECOMMEND this company because if they make mistakes it's pulling teeth to get them to fix it. Horrible experience!! ***Quick update with Swifthand Painting. Since we had a bad experience and left bad reviews they have blocked us on social media, called us names on Twitter and then deleted the post after we saw and responded. Also I took up the floor coverings they left and found that they got paint on my new tile floor.

We changed a sliding door to another style we liked better, so there was some fabrication for them to do as well. Our old stucco had a good deal of cracks everywhere. Matt explained that was normal over time and that they would repair it with a fiberglass mesh. Their workers really worked hard and got it all done in two steps. It looks fabulous, even better than we imagined. We're very happy with the finish and color we picked out. It's exciting to realize we chose the right company to help us with this update to the home we've been in since 1985. I'm typically nervous to get these projects started but very satisfied with Terry George Construction and Stucco Contractors. I feel comfortable in recommending them whole heartedly. Great Job !

We lived in the house while it was being done and honestly other than the hassle of moving everything it was fine. They were prompt (like 7:30 am prompt) and like clockwork with the three days of sanding, coating and finishing. They also gave us a professional cleaning kit for free. Our floors are maple and were pretty trashed from life and dogs. In September 2022, I contacted the office and received a very prompt response and was connected with a project manager immediately. He stated he could start my project in December. They estimated my bathroom remodel would be potentially $120,000.00. I thought that was high- but I was hoping for the same responsiveness and high quality for the project. They require a large deposit ($3500). I found once I gave the deposit- everything changed. I was promised a designer that never came through- (the positive comments on the designers were another reason I chose this company). I finally got a designer that was very nice and responsive, however, he didn't really offer me any ideas beyond what I already had in mind and his style wasn't as contemporary as I had hoped. When I questioned his style- I was told- "well, that's all that's available". I discovered the project manager quit and they didn't have the measurements he took in October. Basically, they ended up not having the capacity to properly support my project- they didn't show up for the re-measure and didn't answer my emails. Finally, I asked for a refund. They charged me $350 hour for the designer (when I was quoted a price when they were bidding for the job- they told me designers ranged from $150- $200 hour). Now, I find myself back to the drawing board and out $700. The owner never had the courtesy to acknowledge my poor experience. Perhaps he will now, after a poor review. I would caution anyone with a "small" project (their words) like mine. I'm not sure if a six figure remodel is small in your world- but it's certainly not in mine.
