I explained that a new surgeon has told me I'm supposed to be in a boot and asked if they could contact that provider to see if he thinks I should be doing therapy. I was told NO that's my job! I was seen by a telehealth physical therapist over a week ago on Monday and was told that I would get a call by Thursday letting me know if they were authorized to treat me. I called on Thursday and left a message called on Friday. Left a message called on Monday left a message and now it's Tuesday And this snarky lady has the audacity to tell me that she's too busy to contact a doctor to find out if I should be doing this type of therapy and then I'm hung up on? I already have a message left for their supervisor Jackie and I would definitely not recommend this place based on the snotty and rude unprofessional girls that answer the phone and can't do their jobs

I had the same provider for both annual exams, Natesha Vaillancourt. My first visit was okay. I mean when is a pap pleasant? I was informed that since I was over 40 years old, they needed to check for something in the stool. Uh okay? Maybe this is normal procedure but how come no one tells you this crap? No pun intended! Vaillancourt was pleasant but I felt kind of dismissed at times during our conversation. Typical of being a woman when dealing with healthcare. My second annual pap involved the same procedure. This visit has stuck with me throughout the year. I do not exaggerate and I do understand how sometimes there is provider/ patient misinterpretations but I was legit pissed after a piece of our conversation. She said I do not need to come for a pap every year, especially since I have not had an abnormal pap/HPV present/ biopsy in 6+ years. I reminded her I have type 1 diabetes, which means I am required to see all my specialists at least once a year as precautionary. She said "diabetes has nothing to do with that" and also said my insurance probably will not cover it either. WTF? As far as I knew, as long as a female has insurance, annual wellness exams were covered and preventative care. But wait, there's more! After I scheduled with another office this year and missed the appointment because they misinformed me of the appointment time, I went back to this place. I attempted to make the appointment a week earlier by coming in person to speak to them due to calling three times and no answer. I was told "oh we would have had to cancel that appointment anyway and she is not here for the next four days." Uh when were you going to let me know? Especially since this was within a week and they did nit gave any openings until May? Last kick in the ass was my appointment card that was given to me the previous year said 4pm but when I attempted initially to sign into the portal to do any of this, the appointment said 12pm. When I asked, I was told "yeah they changed it but they would have called you" and of course I never received any call. So lesson learned. I will now travel to Gainesville or further to receive proper healthcare because Ocala is beyond horrible.

Earlier this year, I went back to him after I went to see a local chiropractor last year because my primary suggested I go to see a chiropractor about a balance problem I had. The chiropractor diagnosed the issue but after months I was not seeing any improvement. It turned out the leg length difference was due to a childhood injury to my femur bone. The growth plate in my right leg eventually developed into a 2-inch difference between the length of my legs. Raifu knew exactly how to move my hip so that after a couple of months I actually noticed that my hips were more in alignment. After about 3 months, of his gentle touch and through the exercising of my legs, my legs were even. All of this was accomplished without surgery. My friends and relatives after seeing the difference between the old and new me think he is a miracle worker. He is truly amazing. Now I can walk around standing straight without feeling like I am tipping over and I can walk up and down inclines without fear of falling. When I went back to NJ to see my primary and my specialists - they were so happy with my progress. His office is great and I will recommend him whenever I can, he is truly a gift. Recently, I was able to go back to line dancing which is an activity I really enjoy but could not do. It is now approximately 6 months since I finished therapy. I no longer fear walking up and down hills. If you have a leg shortage or discrepancy, don't let the doctors around here talk about surgery...you can get the issue resolved without it - just go to see Raifu.

The overall building itself is okay..: I think mostly anything in a Ocala that's been around for a while isn't as up to date as you would hope. It's something about going into any type of medical facility that seems drabby and outdated- makes me feel dirty when I sit down. The exam room was very much out dated & felt dusty. The entire facility smelled of urine, feces, feer and death! Upon reaching the room tgey attempted to assign to me , there was a large mess on the floor , in the entrance to my room ! One of the staff said. I told them to clean that up earlier, now what does that look like ! Being on a gurney , I couldn't see so I said , tell me what does it look like ? No one answered. My friend later told me there was what appeared to be blood and urine on the floor. The room was about 80 degrees and looked like it was furnished in 1975. Also in my room was what looked like someone in a bed with several blankets that may or may not have been alive. I saw no movement or anything spoken from this victim of avante. Needless to say , my visit was extremely short . On the way out the staff actually tried to bribe me with a hamburger to stay ! I would not bring my goldfish to this facility. I was very disturbed with this facility.
