Would do 0 stars if I could. These people are scam artists and con men who take advantage of college students and those who are less fortunate. In my one year renting from them they had ridiculously long waits for maintenance time including over a week to even have a plumber come out when my water pipes completely froze. They ignored my calls and maintence requests I had to go to their office to even get results. In my years renting I've never lost more than $100 from my saftey deposit and they took $550 from me including $280 to "replace the locks" I am a college student I have no reason to change the locks at my one year lease apartment. There was a different key for front and back door and thier employee was too stupid to figure that out and just charged me the $280. When I went to discuss this with them Nolan the owner closed his office door and refused to speak with me like the COWARD he is. He knew I handed him both keys but refused to give me the money I was owed. DONT NOT RENT FROM THESE SCUMBAGS!!! read more

We've had an all around terrible experience with them. They texted us telling us they were redoing the roof on a date....didn't happen, then roof guys randomly show up 2 weeks later and start banging on the roof. Then a month later people started randomly ripping out the gutters with no warning. Our place is about 20ft from the railroad track and the train goes all night... what wasn't in the description at all....and last if you want to get out of you're contract they don't reason with you at all. My wife is 7mo pregnant now and we want a baby room that isn't right by the railroad track so when I called to ask if we can negotiate getting out of our lease 5 months early they said only if they find someone to fill our spot, or if we pay off the rest of the lease. BE AWARE!! STAY AWAY!!! I have never bad mouthed a company or organization before until this company. I saw warning signs from others on social media before but proceeded anyway. When I first started touring apartments with them the manager was very rude and I should have noted then that they were not a great company to rent from. The selection was very low at the time within Warrensburg, therefore we settled with them. After finding an apartment, our move in day was June 10 and they did not have a key for the apartment. They had to hire a locksmith to come unlock the door for us because the previous tenant changed the lock and never turned in the keys. Again, another red flag, they did not have keys to access the apartment to clean it after the previous tenant before we moved in. After walking into the apartment it was absolutely disgusting. The ceiling fan was caked with dust, the air filter was black causing the unit not to work at all, dirt everywhere along the floor, mold all over the cocking of the bathroom, a broken window with a missing screen, broken tiles in the bathroom, broken trim/floor pieces throughout the apartment and so on. I let it go and continued to move in. With the cooler air in September, we wanted the missing screen replaced so I put in a maintenance request for the screen on September 8, 2023. Long story short they never came and replaced the screen even when we moved out at the end of April in 2024. I sent follow up emails and was told a vendor would contact me but I never was contacted. I then sent another email in October and never got a response. Eventually I called and they said they would have it soon but we never got it. Around late November our washer gave out and needed a new one replaced. Again, we put in a maintenance call and we did not receive the new washer until a month later in December. For them to install the washer I had to call numerous times and finally got it replaced. When the repair man came to install the washer unit in December, he stated that they just found out about the request a day ago, not a month ago when I originally called the owner. Fast forward to May 2024, after opening the deposit back there was a $200 cleaning bill charge. We left the apartment better than what we found it (obviously because they didn't have the decency to clean it before me moved in.) and another charge of $152 because of a broken window and missing screen. We never had a screen to begin with so I'm not sure what the charge for that was and the window was previously broken when we moved in. We tried contacting the owner saying that the screen was already missing and the window was previously broken but he would not refund any money unless we had pictures. After all of this I can 100% they are the worst company to rent through. Their lack of communication skills and human decency made it very difficult to work with them. In the end all they care about is gaining money and making your living space disgusting. read more

They list properties but do not answer their phones or call back when you leave messages. I left three messages over a one week period on two different rentals that came up as listed by them. I also e-mailed and get a canned response about "When do you plan to move in" And they still have yet to contact me to schedule to even see a property. I have also called several times during business hours and the phone is never answered. I would like to see properties to determine if they are even in a condition I want to rent or suitable for my family. The ads they post also have no pictures, so without seeing it in person you have no information. I even tried to look at the location where they have one home pinned on the map and have driven past and there is nothing for over a mile on either side of the road. I would not recommend these folks as their level of customer service sucks. If I they were managing my home and not showing it I would be really upset as well. Advice if you want to be ignored as a customer on either end just try to reach them. read more

Please read. Alpha works as a middleman between the tenant and landlord. They lease out properties for landlords for a fee. This is their business model and where Alpha starts to get into trouble with their tenants. Since the landlord is paying them to manage their property, you, as the tenant, will never get to know who the landlord is. So, if the landlord doesn't pay to maintain their own property during the tenant's lease, then Alpha may choose not to assist the tenant either. The landlord is required to pay all maintenance done. Otherwise, Alpha would be paying to fix the landlord's property. That could get expensive for them. Alpha's contract protects primarily themselves and also the landlord (If you're going to rent from them, then you need to make sure you read the contract throughly). Without more properties to manage, Alpha loses out on increased income as a business. This was my exact issue as a tenant. The landlord was never available (traveled/deployed overseas) and didn't have enough personal income to finance all of the issues that we had (flooding in the basement, water pouring through our ceiling from the master bath above, broken appliances such as dishwasher and AC, etc). The property was built with cheap labor and horrible plumbing. Rick Soloman, the owner, had told me that Alpha wouldn't be leasing out the property again unless either the issues were addressed or that the new tenants understood what they were signing a lease for. I had sat with him in his office on several occasions about our issues. Once where he reassured me that he likely wouldn't do business with the landlord before all property issues were resolved. When Alpha came to show the property with interested clients, the clients were completely oblivious to the issues with the property. We were very upset about this. Morally speaking, I do not recommend this business to those looking for somewhere to live. It was unfair how my roommates and I were treated and it was truly a rough year as a student living at their property. The owner Rick Soloman is a terrible man and has lied to me on several occasions, has treated me poorly and has even disrespected me. He will raise his voice and argue with you if he's mad. Long story short, Alpha didn't fix many of the issues and wouldn't decrease our rent. They wouldn't even allow us to move out from the poor living conditions (we had mold growing in the basement from the flooding). Last thought: I understand that not every tenant will have to go through this. I am simply sharing my story where I was wronged and am hoping that this review will help anyone who is looking to rent from Alpha. read more

I wholeheartedly do not recommend Alpha Property Management. Rick Soloman never answered any emergency calls and made many false promises to fix the back yard and take out the shed that was falling apart within the first 2 weeks of living on the property, It took them close to 6 months to get the shed out of the back yard. Then the house had a terrible termite problem that took them over 2 weeks to finally take care of. I had termites coming out of my walls for 2 weeks while Rick claimed they were ants. Upon closer inspection I found locations on the outside of the house that had been poorly patched up from prior termite damage. Rick was hiding the fact the house was infested for as long he could, until the termite swarmers took flight and filled the house, termites were even coming out of the previously poorly patched termite holes. There were also multiple minor fixes the house needed that simply never gotten taken care of. One of the worst parts about it is anytime you call the office the secretaries act like they know nothing about what you are talking about even though you talked to them about the same problem a week ago.
