PROS + Mike tries to address the cause of the problem. I have lost a total of 7 fence posts in the past 5 years because they rot. Mike used the Rotbloc Wrap to prevent the posts from rotting under the ground. + Mike was able to give me a free estimate and repaired my face. There were delays but he did it in the end. I tried to get a quote from big names in town, but I couldn't. CONS -Both times when I hired Mike, there was a problem with details, some big, some small. First time (2019), his crew fixed my fence but didn't do a good job. He had to come back to fix it himself. Second time (2021), I notice that one of the posts was longer and a few of them were shorter than other posts. He fixed the post that was too long, but there was nothing that could be done with the two posts that are too short (by about 6 inches). ADVICE *Make sure to inspect the site when they are done to make sure everything looks good. *Get quotes from other contractors. I found out later that a Yelper friend of mine in town hired a different contractor and paid less than half of what I paid. I could be comparing apples and oranges, but both he and I had 4 posts replaced in January 2021. Send me a private message if you want to know who my Yelp friend used. *Pay cash/check. There's a 3.9% processing fee for credit card payments. Overall, I'm happy with M & M, and I think I will use them again. They had 4 workers come and remove all shingles and underlayment, load it in their trailer for disposal, had the metal roofing supplier deliver the the new metal roofing. installed new underlayment, and installed the new roof in 2 days. It was amazing watch the quality of their work, and their professionalism. The new roof has exceeded our expectations. We again hired them to paint the interior of our house. As expected, we were not disappointed. They moved our furniture out of the way, and protected it, and the floors with drop cloths, and applied 2 coats of paint on all surfaces, and assured the house was properly cleaned. How can I tell you how much I love my kitchen and first floor LVP?  The Zion team unbelievably made the process zip by and the only delays were with the countertop and cabinet paint. Everybody said it would take 8-10 weeks and that I was dreaming to think it could be done in a month, but they came through with flying colors.  Not only were things done in a timely manner (demo and floors in 4 days?!?!), but everybody did excellent work and seemed to take pride in the quality with which they completed each task. The project manager, Roman was good-natured and patient and had a totally can-do-easy-peasy attitude that really put my Type A at ease. He managed the tasks and seemed to be able to juggle 352 tasks at the same time and still get everything done - and done right. And talk about customer service! Not only were the office staff super responsive, when we had that flood from the old under-sink plumbing, Gherman and Derek were here at 7:00am to fix it - or die trying!   We have so much faith in this company, we'd like them to tackle our out-dated weirdly designed upstairs bathroom. Even though that's down the line, I can't imagine anyone but Zion to do the job. I appreciate the renovation of my kitchen and floors, but also the renewal of energy and joy they've given to our lives.
