Project is 10k+ after installation costs. Crew shows up on time and starts work to remove existing fence and posts. I get a call during this from American Fence telling me they have to upgrade posts from 4" to 6" at an additional cost of $400! Huh? I call and speak with a manger and he basically says they messed up. I'm waiting for the next sentence that tells me they will make this right. Didn't happen. Manger basically says, "too bad". Wow! Watch out.

And all this after I prevented their equipment from being stolen - they left all their hand and power tools on the curb where someone was loading them into their own truck until I notified the installers. We had five weeks of them passing around our case to different project managers and finally decided to move on when they pushed us several steps back in their long process. Our tenants had guests coming in five days and the carpet had to be replaced by then. We remembered driving by a flooring place close to our house and decided to stop there. They were closed, but Paul spotted us walking around and let us in. We talked business and they were able to get an installer out in three days. The installer did a great job and even waited at Lowe's when we had to return the carpet for a bigger one! We are very happy and pleased with Classic Floors!

We received a quote by the end of the day and waited a few weeks for actual measurements of our counter and backsplash space for replacement. Waited another few weeks to have them start demo on a Tuesday to disconnect stove, water, sink and dishwasher, and waited til Friday for installation of counters. Was originally planned for Thursday but due to miscommunication I wasted a full Thursday waiting to find out no one was coming. Came the following week to do backsplash and complete the job. For future reference, I would get an estimated timeframe from start to finish. Scheduling and communication seemed to lack and had difficulty trying to make my personal plans around them so I basically couldn't plan ahead for anything for 1 1/2 weeks. When I mentioned this to my sales associate he was very specific of a 3-4 day start/finish that was never mentioned to us, nor estimated in our contract. Well, we were way over their timeframe based on the wait time of scheduling. Since we had to go without sink water since Tuesday, a plumber came out Saturday to reconnect sink, stove and dishwasher for the weekend until completion the following week. I feel that the daily teams did a great job however I feel that my associate person could have given everything a thorough inspection, especially on completion day. Pictures and admiration does not pass as a full inspection. We ended up not having silicone caulk between the counters and backsplash therefore the grout was cracking, there were some quartz blemishes that needed touch up, electrical outlets were having problems, etc. and I had to make my own punch list for followup which again was not reinspected by my associate. So for over a two week period the job from start to finish was complete. I ended up caulking the counter to backsplash since nothing was scheduled, it was always next week.....not a scheduled day. I surrendered. Before this begun, full payment was done therefore I felt that they were done with us and left it at that. I still gave them 4 stars being that 90% of the job was done good by the assigned teams.

Jim was happy to put together an estimate for us and was willing to wait until we made our decision. He won our business by walking us through all the options, providing a written quote and allowing us the time and space to make our decision. Our installers were Jessie and Ruben, they were fantastic!! If they laid a board and did not like the way it looked they took it up and got another one. They were punctual, polite and got the job done quickly. We could not have asked for better service or better people to work with.

About 2 years later we discovered dozens of loose and some broken tiles. Mr Bizzell (owner) came out this one and only time and tried to convince us that the ice storm was the cause. Being naive we originally accepted this, later discovering that this was not true. Over the next couple of years the problem got much worse. Tiles on the steps leading to the front door and back door came loose and broke. A painter stepped on another edge tile and it broke and caused him to take a painful fall. During this time my wife underwent several serious surgeries each requiring a wheelchair, walker or cane. It was far too risky for her to use either the front or back door as she would have had to walk across all the loose and broken tiles, then step off where the tiles were completely loose and broken. We live in Sun City, and her senior friends were apprehensive about coming over to visit and assist her during rehab. As the tile and health issues continued to deteriorate we both called Mr Bizzell numerous times seeking help. He refused every time. Our last call was from my wife while she was using a walker, and Mr Bizzell refused to even talk to her. We then gave him written notice of the hazard and he still failed to respond. Reluctantly we went to Small Claims Court. Mr Bizzell employed a Legal Firm dealing in Construction Law. Despite the huge disparity in legal expertise facts are facts. The Judge ruled against Town Square Floors and awarded me 100% of the repairs and 100% of my court costs. As of this Review, Town Square Floors has ignored our request to honor the judges decision, and continue to blow us off as they have from the very beginning. It makes us wonder how a company that is so clearly responsible (and confirmed by the Judge) for the defect has no problem, just walking away and leaving the customer holding the bag. Maybe even worse is how Town Square Floors appears to have no remorse for their treatment of a 75 year old severely handicapped woman. What are the priorities, ethics and moral values of those operating Town Square Floors?
