NO SHOW, IRRESPONSIBLE. I called Jimmy yesterday, he gave me a quote for a vent glass. We agreed with the price, time and date. Never showed up. I called and texted. No response. I drove to the address shown on yelp, it is a residential house and the house owner said "Jimmy doesn't live here, this house is owned by an Indian." I guess, i am not the only one who drove to the house and look for Jimmy auto glass. She didn't think twice when she told me Jimmy doesn't live there. Best price in town!!! He was very responsive and thorough. He called an hour before the appointment time to confirm. I gave him the wrong year and model of my vehicle and he wasn't upset. He came back the next day and still did a great job. He didn't charge me extra even though it wasn't my fault which is a huge plus. The Good: Alpha Auto was the lowest quote I found for a windshield replacement and they said that they would come out the next morning. The Bad: They never showed! With not even a courtesy call to say "Hey, we're running behind" or "actually we can't make the time slot that we agreed on: will another time today work?" I tried calling them but no answer. I had called one place and was quoted $260 plus and when I called Jimmy he quoted me $80 cheaper!!!! That was about 20% difference. He arrived on time and was very professional. There is good and bad in this review. The good part was this company was a very good price, the service itself was good as well. Jimmy was late to the appointment and did not call. I had to call him and he apologized because the prior job took longer than expected..... but he was able to fit me in later in the day. When they got here they replaced the windshield in about 30 minutes. When I noticed a little scratch on the windshield, Jimmy offered to replace it with another windshield or give a discount.... I was good with that. Overall the windshield replacement was good. Now the bad. Jimmy said he was going to email me a receipt for the windshield and explained the lifetime warranty of any leaks that might occur. I have yet to receive the receipt. I have texted Jimmy several times with no response, and have called several times and no answer, plus his mailbox is full so I can't leave a message. So now my concern is if there are any issues with leaks or anything else, this company won't back their warranty as you can't get a hold of anyone. Plus I paid cash for the service and without the receipt there is no proof of warranty or service. I guess they wash their hands of their customers after the initial work is done. Not real happy with their customer service after the service is completed. So for this lack of communication and customer service, after the service....... I would not recommend this company. What should I expect, you get what you pay for, and they were much cheaper than anyone else. read more

I am happy to say that I am very satisfied with this company's service. My front passenger window was shattered and needed to be replaced. I called several Elk Grove companies for quotes, and Alpha had the most competitive price and had "same day" service. David did a great job. He was very professional and friendly. He was 10 minutes early for my appointment, which was on-site at my home. The job was done within 30-45 minutes and my window looks brand new! Great job at a great price. What more could you want? This is the second time I've had a windshield replaced by Alpha. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Actually you don't "go" anywhere, as they come to your location. Arrived on time (actually a bit early) and did a fast, clean job. My windshield had cracks but not in the viewing area, so it was still legal. But..... windshields get bombarded with rocks and sand, and in a few years they get harder to see through, and without replacement they just continue to get worse. It's better to do a replacement sooner rather than later. read more

Got my rear drivers side window fixed today by Jimmy. Got it done in 30 minutes and vacuumed all the glass up which helped a bunch. Was about 30 minutes late, but got it done fast so wasn't too big of a deal. I'd definitely recommend them, only cost me 120$ when safelite wanted close to 300$. Well worth it read more

Just like everyone here.... did research to find the right company to get quotes to replace a window for my vehicle. It was a Saturday but I wanted to get my window replaced asap. I only knew of Safelite and checked their availability and price. They didn't have any availability until Tuesday. After calling other companies and leaving emails/messages for quotes, Alpha Auto Glass was the first to respond and quoted me nearly 50% less than Safelite and offered to come to my residence in the afternoon. Awesome. They had great Yelp reviews so immediately arranged it. They had an availability for an earlier appointment so I took that. They came on time, replaced the glass, cleaned up the shattered glass in the vehicle. I looked it over, everything was good. I wasn't keeping track of time but they were very efficient and had great service. Very pleased with the work done and gave them a little extra. Highly recommend for Elk Grove area. read more

Where the do I begin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I read the reviews for this place and was so grateful that they could squeeze me in on a Saturday. It was even better when they called and told me they would come sooner than expected. Just when the guy comes and removes the glass he then realized he got the wrong size! He admitted it was his fault for not double checking. I was just super bummed that during the process he cracked the glass even some more and that his boss told him just to make sure to add lots of glue. Mind you this was our only car so being limited on driving with plans we had for the weekend was super frustrating. My biggest concern was it being a hazard period‼ had something happened I definitely would've sued! I understand people make mistakes but the whole reason for this review is HOW DISGUSTED I AM WHEN I CALLED THIS MORNING TO SPEAK WITH THE OWNER! I told him what happened on Saturday and all he could say was, ' umm ok what do you want me to do? Give you a discount or something? Or you can go somewhere else' excuse me!? Wayyyy to do business you a**hole. I will NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE. Lack of basic customer service on the owner himself!!! I told him that I'll be up and ready since I moved my plans around at 9:00 (time that I was told) and he said, ' well it might be late. Since he has to go to the warehouse and traffic and stuff' eff your excuses! When you make an appointment you make sure you give yourself enough time to get where you need to be. When returned from a bike ride with my children and saw my window was busted out, I was not looking forward to the hassle of getting it replaced.
