Service was initially ok for windshield replacement. I provided the exact model and year number and they provided a quote and did the replacement. However after the job was finished, we noticed that they didn't use the correct glass as our heads up display did not work properly and was distorted. They recognized the mistake and agreed to fix. Multiple times we've agreed for them to come replace the windshield and they have no showed. Its frustrating to take time off from work for an agreed appointment and then they don't come through. We've tried many times over the last 2 months to get this fixed and they are no longer answering our calls. Would highly not recommend working with this business as they ordered the wrong glass and did not honor their agreements to fix the error. read more

Alpha Auto Glass - Distorted heads up display - Windshield Installation & Repair Near Me - Sacramento, California

I booked a windshield replacement a week in advance and 40 minutes before he was supposed to arrive for the repair, Jimmy tells me the glass won't be in till tomorrow. This would've been much more useful information even just a day or two ago instead of my wasting my one day off work to wait for a no show. Communication or lack thereof can make or break a business because it shows intent. You either intend to give reliable, quality service or you don't. There's no grey area. Things happen, parts get delayed, traffic on the road etc etc etc. most of the time it can be made ok through communication. Do better. read more

Like many others I've received the same excuses of "window won't be in until tomorrow" on the day of the appointment to "family emergency". When they finally came out and replaced the window regulator (and not my window smh), I noticed much later in the day when I drove my car that there was an obvious air gap between the window and door lining. Repeated texts to fix the gap since December 10th 2024 and nothing in return as of February 2nd 2025. Take these one star reviews as a warning and go elsewhere read more

Yes they were quick, and reasonably priced, but they cracked my window side panel when they put it back together incorrectly, and tried to say it was cracked already. The window side panel is on the outside of the panel instead of under it now and cracked and it leaks I've called several times and tried to get them to fix it and it's just not happening so just beware read more

They were prompt with a quote! They are very reasonable and honestly cheapest around. Great service, showed up on time and did a great job on our windshield. read more

This guy will screw you over a couple bucks. Don't trust this company and his work. He will remove your windshield and say he brought the wrong one and never return. He won't return any phone calls or text. Report this business to the business bureau like i did. read more

Absolutely the worst experience possible. I took off work on Tuesday to get my windshield repaired. Hours before arrival they said the windshield came broken and they would repair it Wednesday at 2 instead. I took Wednesday off work, they were a complete no show. When I got ahold of them I was told "oh I don't know what happened to my guy, I'll give you 30 dollars off". I should have said no but safelight had everything booked out. THIRD DAY I TOOK OFF WORK MISSING OUT ON PAY USING VACATION TIME. He said he was coming at 11:30-1. I called him at one. He said he would be there from 2:45-3. I called at three. He then said 4. Finally he showed up...3 days off work later. Why is this okay? Why do businesses treat their customers like this and have no care in the world? This whole experience makes me sick and clearly this company takes no pride in their work. read more

Called Jimmy on a Monday to replace a window regulator for my car and we set up a time to come by to do so the next day. I called him the next day hour before the appointment and he never answered and I called back again 30 mins later no answer. Sent a text and no answer there too. Luckily I found 916 Auto Glass and they beat his price and came out that day when he was supposed to come. Was ready to give my money to this business but total lack of communication killed that chance and I'm happy it did now I found a better auto glass company. read more

I was looking for a local business to replace my windshield ASAP. He called me back within 15 mins and said he'd be able to do it the same day. Came to my house and was very professional. I talked about replacing my husbands windshield since he had a crack also. He told me it wasn't necessary and fixed the small crack for free. Score! I love supporting local businesses whenever possible. read more

Alpha Auto Glass - Working on my car while I run errands - Windshield Installation & Repair Near Me - Sacramento, California

The Good: Alpha Auto was the lowest quote I found for a windshield replacement and they said that they would come out the next morning. The Bad: They never showed! With not even a courtesy call to say "Hey, we're running behind" or "actually we can't make the time slot that we agreed on: will another time today work?" I tried calling them but no answer. Booked an appointment with another company for later today. read more

Fast, friendly and budget friendly. I would recommend them. He replaced both mine's and my sister's window in less than an hour.

I called to get an estimate for a new windshield for my car. The price was excellent. I setup a time with Jimmy and he actually came a little early which was great! It only took him about 30-40 mins to install the new window and was his way. I will definitely do business with him again. I love the that he comes to your home to do the repairs. read more

I had a no call no show for my appointment. It was set for this morning. I have called multiple time, I texted multiple times, and I get no response. I am having to resort to a different company. read more

I was referred to Jimmy by another business that I have done business with for the last 12 years. I had concerns at the time of my windshield being installed and was assured by Jimmy that the molding would be fine and no gaps after 3 days, remove the tape and it would be fine. Well after three days, it wasn't fine. I sent Jimmy all the photos and considerable gaps. He assured me that he would fix it (all this thru text message, even went to say he ordered new trim pieces and said it will be fixed) it's been over a month since I have had my windshield replaced and no more messages from Jimmy, multiple text messages to him to give him a chance to fix his work, no response ever again from Jimmy. This is why I had to write to this review, can't do business this way. read more

Looked all over yelp for a shop that offered an affordable windshield replacement. Found this place and called them right up. Dude made it easy for an appointment the next day. Got there and told me it'll be a 45 minute wait and it came out looking perfect. For the price, i thought it was gonna be a generic looking windshield but it actually looked like the real deal. The windshield was very identical to my cracked windshield. Thanks to jimmy( the guy who worked on it). I recommend this place to anyone who needs a quick windshield replacement . read more

We have a Kia van which had a cracked windshield. Alpha Auto Glass replaced the windshield and said they'd provide life-time warranty on labor and installation - DON'T TRUST THEM ON THAT. We called and texted them several times after installation due to excessive wind noise due to very poor installation. They had also missed appointments a couple of times which is really unprofessional. Now we are left with a problem that is unresolved for over a month now. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THESE GUYS. read more

This place was by far the lowest cost one out there. He beat the competition by about $50 and that included install. Some awesome human being thought my car would look better if they smashed the back window open, so they did me a favor and 'ventalized' my car for me. I didn't like the look, and I needed a window ASAP. My car is a bit old, but Alpha found the window and came over right away to fix it for me. I made it to work on time and the install looks great. read more

Was due to put in a windshield for my parents today and no showed. On top of that is not answering there phone. This has caused a severe inconvenience and is terrible customer service. Common sense says that if you can't make your appointments the least you can do is inform your customer as we have now wasted 2 hours of our morning waiting for this service. Unprofessional is an understatement. read more

I called yesterday to set an appointment for 3:30pm. Jimmy showed up 30 minutes early!!! Other places quoted $200+. This is by far the cheapest price in town! I will be coming back, but I hope I won't be seeing Jimmy again in the future! LOL! I will definitely recommended to anyone!!!! read more

Alpha Auto Glass - Brand spanking new!! FLAWLESS!! - Windshield Installation & Repair Near Me - Sacramento, California

The bad: Jimmy cut my the wire that connects my GPS antenna to my car receiver while he was replacing my windshield. He hid the wire conveniently so that I would not notice it when I checked out the job he did. Later in the day I noticed the wire had been moved and contacted him but no response. I took the side pillar cover off and found the wires to be completely cut! I contacted him again and no response. The good: Jimmy seemed like a nice guy. He charges a fair price and did the job in a reasonable time frame. He seemed to have done a good job replacing my windshield. He says there is a warranty on any leaks or stress cracks; but with my current experience I'm not sure he will honor it. TL;DR: Go here if you want a cheap replacement with the chance he may mess up other parts of your car without telling you about it. read more

Best price in town!!! On time and fast service! I highly recommend him to any looking to replace their auto glass.

Alpha auto glass is hands down a 5 star company. I called in to get a quote after seeing their other 5 star reviews and was given a fair quote quickly over the phone and had the appointment set up the next day. Jimmy came out on a Saturday and did the window replacement. He was polite, thorough and made sure to go over the warranty and all the precautions to take after having your windshield replaced. I couldn't be happier with the work and would highly recommend Alpha to anyone looking to have their windows replaced! read more

One star for actually showing up. Late, never even called or texted to say he was running late. I texted him and he said he was running late. 30-45 minutes late on appointment. I was out of town so my brother was home. Even though the agreed upon price was $155, he charged an extra $10. I don't know why my brother paid him the money even when I already said it'd only be $155. I called him back on the phone once my brother told me how much it was. "Jimmy" or whoever his name is agreed to bring me the $10 he overcharged stating he usually charges 165 not 155. Bullsh**. 4 hours later still no refund. If you guys want someone that will make excuses and then overcharge you, well alpha auto glass is your guy. Come on by for all your auto glass needs. Will update in a few days in case my windshield falls out since you never know what "quality" equipment you'll get when this is the kind of "quality" service you get. TLDR; go else where the small amount that you think you're saving isn't worth it. read more
