After several hours of unsuccessfully trying to find the safelite store's phone number on line, I had to call my insurance company who then placed me on a 3 -way call with shop. The manager said I was 10 minutes out of the repair zone and could not make the appointment.

You have to schedule appointment, then you get a text, then you get an email, then you get another…read moretext day before, then the driver calls when he is 30 min out...all great...except in all that communication no one gave a disclaimer that with vehicles over 10 years old, if there is rust once they remove window, they can't put it back in. You cant drive without a window!! And they are just now giving me this info? I filed a claim with my insurance which goes against for raising rates and I could not revoke that even tho I did NOT get window done. All because 20 million people I talk to never could tell that since my car is over 10 years old they may or may not be able to do. AND they give you window of 8 to 5!!! Not 8 to 12 or.1 to 5...I had to block my WHOLE day.

He was mindful of our somewhat limited garage space and managed to make it workable. He tidied up when finished, took care of paperwork and billing efficiently and was all around a great guy! The whole process took just a few hours. The windshield was calibrated and has worked flawlessly since it was installed. We highly recommend Safelite in Cadillac and will use their service again : )

We were on vacation and my daughter's 2013 Ford Edge was making noise from the front left brake…read morewhen stopping. I took it in for an evaluation not knowing exactly what was wrong. I usually change the brakes myself, but we were on vacation at our lake house and I did not have all the tools needed and I was worried if I attempted it I may get in over my head. I dropped the car off and told them about the left front issue and before I even got home (10 min drive) had an email estimate. I opened my email and found an estimate for the following: 4 Brembo brake pads 2 Rotors 2 New calipers 2 New wheel hubs All of that was diagnosed in the time it took me to get home (about 10 mins). total cost of parts $981.93 total cost of labor $819.00 after tax and supplies the total price $1884.84 Hard pass on that. Not sure why my daughters edge with 118,000 miles needed Brembo brakes and honestly just curious if they even looked at it or just threw everything they could at it just to see what I would pay. Front brakes/ rotors on my 2022 Ram Rebel were $367.56 out the door downstate a month earlier. We picked up the vehicle and called around some other local shops and found one (Luckily as it was July 4th weekend) and had brakes and rotors replaced for $515.84. Calipers just needed a good cleaning. Shoutout to Daves Garage in Gaylord. Job was done in under 2 hours and we have had no problems with the car since.
