I received an immediate reply offering to deliver a replacement arrangement the next day. They delivered a new arrangement today. This arrangement is fresh and at least once and half bigger and taller than the first one. I appreciate that they made good, so I am changing my review for the better. Ordered a graduation bouquet for today, providing reference photos. She reassured me multiple times that she would be able to recreate the bouquet shown with yellow flowers and white wrapping paper. However, upon picking it up the bouquet looked nothing like the reference photo. Instead of using flower wrapping paper, it was made out of thick cardstock material that was already falling apart throughout the day. Paid $145 and only 25 roses. I was extremely disappointed with the overall outcome. I wouldn't recommend this florist for bouquet arrangements. The final product looked nothing like what was discussed. read more

I received a bouquet from this florist which was sent to me for a special occasion. The flowers in the arrangement were already wilting upon arrival. It was VERY disappointing and the person who sent the flowers was embarrassed. The sender called the florist to register a complaint, and another bouquet was delivered the following day. It was in much better condition, but nothing particularly unique or beautiful. I reached out to Alondras Flowers after receiving a vase bouquet from my son for Mother's day. It was jumbled and clearly a few days old, the blooms had mostly popped open and the remaining already had head drop and never did open, in spite of my efforts to revive them. (I was a florist for years) I gave them fresh water and fresh cuts to no avail. The most disappointing things were: my son ordered a blues and white arrangement because he knows I dislike the red and pink combo(naturally what I received), and that there was zero response from my reaching out to the shop. I received a birthday bouquet from my Alondra's sent by my friend in Mobile. It was beautiful and lasted 12 days until I gradually removed some stems. My Mother's Day flowers arrived Saturday a.m. They were old and opened and by Monday you can see the results in the photo. This florist is consistently a RIP_OFF. Really bad old flowers that she gets away with. This is my third & final time receiving old flowers from someone who contracts with 1-800-FLOWERS OR WHATEVER IT IS! I am trying to warn people that this is just unconscionable. Every time my uncle has sent me flowers from this expensive service they are old & I have called Alondras repeatedly- they say they will send new flowers but they don't. So, my wife was in a pickle. She's the office manager at her place of business, and she had forgotten to order a bouquet for one of her co-workers, whose birthday falls on Christmas day. This was the Friday before, and every florist from Petaluma to Mill Valley was backed up the wazoo filling orders. My darling wife called Alondra, who not only said she could do it that day, but could create a bouquet (with balloon mind you) within the hour. Now, we live off Ignacio, and have passed this place hundreds of times without really knowing what went on there. Was it a party supply place? Florist? Jumpy-house rental? Well, as it turns out the answer is "yup, we got that". When I accompanied my lovely bride to Alondras to pick up the flowers, I was tickled by the eclectic assortment of services and products available to purchase or rent, from pinatas to cotton-candy machine (hint: buy, don't rent the pinatas). Alondra had put together a beautiful, fresh bouquet in a flash, with a smile, and my wife's problem was solved as I had fun checking out all the party gear. I wanted to order flowers for my relative's birthday; she lives in novato, CA, where Alondras is located. I found Alondras online, but couldn't use the website to order the flowers; three times the site crashed and my order disappeared. I then called the florist directly and spoke to the owner, who took my order. it was for a set arrangement, shown on their website in the photo below. total cost with delivery was $51. when the flowers arrived, the relative sent me a photo of what she received to thank me. I was shocked that there were only a fraction of the flowers shown in the website picture, and certainly weren't 39$ of flowers. I called and wrote back, sending the photo that showed the discrepancy between what I thought I was ordering and what my relative received, and the owner said that she hadn't filled my order herself and that she would send another bouquet because I wasn't happy. she did send another bouquet, but again, I don't think it was worth the money that I paid - 4-5 roses and a small bunch of daisies - these would be 10$ worth of flowers in a supermarket.... tip: always ask the recipient for a photo of the flowers that were sent, so you can make sure the flowers that you ordered were actually what was received. read more

Alondras delivered an arrangement of a much lesser quality than what was ordered and they delivered it on WEDNESDAY AFTER MOTHERS DAY! We were out of town at that point and it sat and wilted. I spoke to Alondra and Darwin on two separate days and they both agreed to redeliver the flowers as a courtesy because of the late delivery and us not being home. THEY NEVER REDELIVERED THE FLOWERS. I'M SKEPTICAL THAT THESE GUYS ARE EVEN IN BUSINESS ANYMORE! Here are the facts. In 2018 and 2019 I used them. Alondra always answered the phone, very nice, and flowers were always very good. Only one delivery hiccup due to a new driver. On April 16, 2021 I called to order some flowers. What I wanted wasn't on their website, which btw is a clone of Teleflora's website. So I go to the site, order a mixed for $50 but in the instructions specify that I wanted it all gerbera daisies instead. I then call them after placing the order to confirm my request. The first 3 times, whoever's on the other end (prob a cell phone) JUST HANGS UP WITHOUT EVEN SAYING HELLO!!! I try thru the afternoon, and goes to voicemail so I left a couple msgs. This morning, Sat., I call after they open. Again, just voice mail. So I cancelled the order by voicemail and cancelled the charge on my card. I SERIOUSLY DOUBT THAT ALONDRAS IS IN BUSINESS ANYMORE. The Alondra I dealt with in 2018 and 2019 would NEVER HANG UP OR JUST LET IT GO TO VOICEMAIL AND NOT RESPOND BACK SAME DAY! AVOID THIS FLORIST. One of the worst bouquets I have ever seen. Broken stems! Brown and wilting petals. I called to complain and request a refund. They offered a replacement arrangement but I said no. I want the person who ordered these to have a refund. When I called the person who ordered these to let him know the poor quality he told me he also paid extra to have these delivered before 1 pm. They were delivered after 4 pm. Many better florists to use in the area. I would skip this one. read more

Alondras fulfilled an FTD order my husband placed online. The bouquet, which was quite large and beautiful, was delivered on Thursday, January 27th in the afternoon. Unfortunately, by the following Sunday evening each of the roses had wilted badly and several of the other flowers had as well. Monday morning I thought I would try to salvage the flowers that were in good condition into a smaller vase, but really it wasn't worth the effort and I tossed the entire bouquet into my green can. Alondras Flowers is great! I have gotten several flower bouquets for my girlfriend from them, including the most recent bouquet for our 25th anniversary and they have all been lovely. Up until about two years ago, I had stopped giving my girlfriend flowers from florists because I just couldn't find a good florist in Novato. The flowers I had been getting were expensive, they didn't look any better than the one's I could get at Safeway and they weren't lastly more than a few days - that all changed when I found Alondras. My first experience was when a friend sent us flowers that she had ordered from Alondras on-line. They were not only gorgeous, but they lasted a long time and this is the most important thing for me. Since then, I have gone to Alondras Flowers a number of times to order flowers and described to the owner what kind of bouquet I have in mind for my girlfriend, and they have impressed me with the great work that they do. This last bouquet had probably more than three dozen roses, plus orchids, daisies, and other flowers and it lasted more than two weeks! I highly recommend. read more

Why the low stars? Because I had a good experience here. I came here to order flowers for my daughter's kindergarten graduation. I told the lady what I was looking for and what kind of arrangement. When the price was reasonable for me, I paid and picked it up the next day. The flowers were gorgeous. I intended it to be a big bouquet and it had to be "pinky" theme for my little girl - I wasn't disappointed. They had on pink roses, daisies and tulips on there. I ordered flowers for my boyfriend's grandma, who we were moving into a senior's home that day, and I ordered them in the morning about 20 minutes before I could arrive to pick-up. Thinking she would tell me she couldn't do it in that short amount of time, Alondra said it would be no problem. When I arrived 20 minutes later to pick-up the flowers, it was a very big but tasteful for the elderly, beautiful arrangement in an amazing clear square glass vase. She saved me that day! My daughter in Minnesota ordered me flowers for my birthday. The arrangement arrived with one-third of the leaf-backs covered with insects and insect eggs. Yuck! No excuse for the arranger not to notice such a thing. I called the florist (note: this is March, 2012) and got an answering machine message about the business being closed for a weekend in June, 2011. My call was returned, and I was promised a new bouquet. It arrived at 5 PM the day after my birthday, but instead of being a replacement for the tuberoses and peruvian lilies of the original bouquet, it was a bunch of daisies and carnations that I could have purchased at the local grocery store for $8.99.
