The owner refused to give us a refund even though the sea-to-sky highway from Vancouver to Whistler was closed. The owner also refused to allow us to change the date of our accommodation as it was purportedly not provided for in the contract. The owner suggested that we take the alternate route from Vancouver to Whistler which would've been a 7-8 hour commute (assuming no traffic) as opposed to a 1.5 hour commute. The owner was not accommodating or sympathetic at all given the uncontrollable circumstances. We really wanted to go to Whistler but it felt like the owner wanted to take advantage of the situation. We ended up losing our deposit. I would not suggest booking through them. You could find better and more honest accommodations elsewhere.

I purchased the 5 days edge pass in May without realizing that my mom will need a knee replacement surgery this coming winter. As soon as I know the surgery is happening in this coming winter, I put in a request online to refund my money at the beginning of July. They not only asking you to fill out a mile long form with all those emails going back and forth, you are also requested to get all the signed documents from the doctors for approvals. It's been 2 months and I am still waiting for the refund. I've been going to Whistler for more than 30 yrs, this year is the worst experience ever.

Needed this dayscape - via the magnificent Sea-to-Sky Highway to the majestic mountain enclave - Whistler - in beautiful British Columbia! Folks be prepared - you will be tempted to stop several times on the drive up. Spectacular views during the daylight hours will leave you breathless!!! This review is done under - Whistler - but encompasses the drive up, the beautiful scenery, the mountains & forest that are all part of an amazing nature built province ('State' - for all those in Merica) of BC. And no, BC does not belong to Britain but to Canada. Don't laugh I've been asked this question before! I won't get into the whole Commonwealth technicality but yes if one is leaning towards that angle I guess you could say - the Queen does own the whole of Canada as we pay mega bucks as in millions each year to the UK - to be part of the British Empire! Oh how lucky we are!? So Harry & Megan got tired of this British royalty life & escaped to a quieter environment in ... Hollywood!?? Ok then!!! The big draw to Whistler is in the winter - skiing & snowboarding. The Blackcomb & Whistler mountains are world wide renowned & super popular! Hiking & mountain biking takeover in the summer. Whistler is mighty expensive so bring all 5 of your credit cards! There are a few good restaurants as well but please make reservations ahead of time or you'll be left hopping around to find whatever's available. Of note & in no particular order but worth trying, Oso Bar (Spanish) - make reservations this spot is fire (thank you manager for the complimentary dessert), Lucia Gelato (try the Ginger flavour), Fat Tony's Pizza (open till 3am so could be a real life saver), El Funiture Warehouse aka All Food @ $5.95 Everyday - that's like $3 bucks US right!?! Everyone eats here, superstars, the rich, the average Joe - there's no class rules when your starving & don't want to blow a lot of money - you will save money eating here!!! Avalanche Pizza, Splitz Grill (can be pricey but it's the burger you design so blame yourself for the hunger causing your mind to go crazy with so many toppings) & finally tacos at La Cantina. There's a few more spots including fine dining but that will be for an update after covid-19 ends. I'm real hesitant to go inside & prefer to stick to patio dining for now, as much as I can. The Whistler Village area is real easy to walk around in & you'll only need to drive if you have to go further up the mountain. I have been coming to Whistler since the early 90s & have stayed in many hotels & condo rentals. Definitely shop around & prebook your stay before coming up here. However, today's trip was just a day trip escape from the big city & was thoroughly enjoyed. The drive from Vancouver takes 90 minutes or less depending on how fast you drive - longer if you stop along the way & or make a pit stop in Squamish, a beautiful town & worth the stop - see my Squamish review. Whoa got the shock of my life while walking about! Five years ago on a cruise in the Caribbean, our group met the super charismatic, charming, & so awesome Cruise Director (entertainment) Matt! Check him out on Instagram @ mattcruisedirector. Merica many of you might be very familer with him from the Carnival Cruise Line!!! Couldn't believe he's now living here - currently on the Sunshine Coast of BC but will be relocating to Vancouver. It was a pleasure to run into him & his wife! I had vivid fond cruise flashback memories while chatting with him. That awesome cruise back in 2015 on Carnival Breeze was phenomenal!!!!! It was a total awesome riot! I discovered my island paradise - Curaçao! Side note - Vancouver & Whistler hosted the 2010 Winter Olympics! I can tell you from first hand experience with actually being involved in the Olympics as a volunteer - it was so spectacular an event!!!!! Vancouverites today still speak highly of it! Super natural Whistler is highly recommended if you've never been - so do check it out! Come experience Whistler & be wowed!!! You will exhale & feel that - we got this ... life is good after all!!!!!

If you needed something, the Worldmark staff provided it. The staff was amazing. They truly were engaging and customer service focused. I felt like they care about my enjoyment with every interaction. We interacted with different staff members and they all were great The units do not have AC but unless the temps are really in the 30s, (80's F) you don't really need AC. Even when it got warmer, the ceiling fans were more than enough. However, if heat bothers you, I would recommend going during a cooler time. The units all have good views with trees or mountains or both. Our unit had a deck with a grill which was great for steaks. Again, everything worked well. The hot tub was good as well. The hot tub was in balance and clean. Hot tubs at resorts are hit and miss but this hot tub was a good. So, my experience was great. Thanks Worldmark Sundance!

This WM location is more out of town, so unlike the other one you can't simply walk to a restaurant, you have to drive. Plus the other thing that annoyed me here, was that our neighbors were noisy up till 3 am! Loud talking, and when I called front desk to complain there was no answer! Other than that, really enjoyed this place, and would comeback here and recommend them!

Whistler Superior Properties - Unidentified puke like substance and trash in the bedroom

After a thorough review and stay, I've chosen to update my review of Whistler Superior Properties -…read morethe management company of the rental we stayed in. In a nutshell, this is a horrible company with terribly unkind staff. I'll attach pictures to show as such. I had several challenges with the room itself, however, upon Dan (the owner's comments) I've elected to update my review (Hi Dan!). In terms of property management companies, the company does not provide a professional nor clean stay (see photos including unidentified puke like substance behind nightstand, trash behind furniture, broken lights, hair in the shower- I'm blonde so explain away Dan). When staff were asked questions, their responses were rude and inconsiderate of what was being stated i.e. "I read the form it doesn't make sense" and their reply was repeatedly "did you read the form". I have a doctorate, I read the form, it doesn't make sense. See attached photos that show that Whistler Superior Properties is not offering what was advertised nor upkeeping what was promised. This is not a clean property nor is this property as advertised as we did not have hottub access. As an owner (Dan), to be attacked for our profession (which has nothing to do with being a guest) upon providing an honest review, is unacceptable. As a professional in mental health, it is my hope that you reflect on constructive criticism as a means for growth. There's plenty of room for growth and development here. We provided feedback on the company's inability to fulfill their promises as publically advertised. It is my hope that you review the photos, review Dan's comments and recognize this property only cares about money and not about people or feedback.

Where to start with this "lovely" property. Looking at the past reviews, first one being from 2017…read morestating that the appliances and decor were lackluster 6 years ago...just providing an update here...THEY STILL HAVEN'T CHANGED. Bea from 2013 also commented on the springs coming through the pull-out couch....we had the same issue with our unit. Our choices were rock hard mattress or springs....either way it was not a pleasant night of sleep during our entire stay. Reading the description of the property and the "amenities" provided, this property is NOT "ski in ski out." Whoever thinks this on the property management team needs to get with the times as the closest lift is at LEAST a 10 minute walk from this place. If you do not book directly through the property site, understand that you will not have the privilege of staying in a specific unit. If you are like me and my wife, and went through another site, your odds of getting anything decent are slim. The "valued" staffed (see my review directly on their site) are rude, unhelpful, and the owner/manager (Hi again Dan! Hope you enjoy this read, bud) struggles to accept feedback and the opinions of guests for what they are by responding with attacking and condescending remarks. Deflection is a great skill this human has as none of the concerns were appropriately addressed. The room we rented for a week was gross, disgusting, and unclean. Hair was on the wall in the shower, utensils were dirty, trash was behind the bed, and the headboard was definitely broken. OH! Let's not forget the puke-looking stain tucked away in the corner in the bedroom. Appliances were outdated and old. Don't bother trying out the bathtub jets as there isn't enough hot water to fill the tub even above the jets to use. If you settle for a luke warm bath after being OUTSIDE ALL DAY, get your noise-cancelling headphones because the jets are loud and sound like something is going to explode. Definitely don't run the tub after quiet hours. Same goes for the washing machine/dryer, which are also outdated and incredibly loud. The room we rented definitely had an old-musty smell to it, despite the cleaning staff having just been in there prior to us having access. (See above problems with cleanliness in the room (Dan neglected to address these issues when we were there during our stay). Be mindful of what you are booking if you ever decide to stay at this property as you could easily be misled into booking something that isn't what it seems. Pictures of our unit were manipulated to seem larger and nicer than what they actually were (photographer did a great job...the only person that was there that actually did their job well). If I could rate this property lower, I would given the price you have to pay to stay here for outdated furnishings, appliances, and decor that doesn't make any sense at all. Please look into other properties as there are a TON of options in the village that are closer, cleaner, and have much friendlier and helpful staff.

The place was really cozy, and really felt like home for the 6 days we stayed both years. The apartment was really nice and well kept, had a fire place, two balconies facing the olympic sign, had wifi and a murphy bed The place came fully stocked with clean silverware, towels and plates, along with a dishwasher, and laundry machines (essential when snowboarding for 6 days) We had a spot in the garage for our car rental, which is awesome because there is not parking in whistler village And last but not least they had a heated pool and an awesome Jaccuzzi, which we lived in after a long day on the slopes I liked that the place was close to a lot of food and bars, but only downside is its an annoying walk to the mountain in the morning with all your gear (but hey you can't have it all) Will be coming back here for sure
