Great food, good service and enjoyed some music in the courtyard while eating. Great weather so it was a perfect meal. Big portions and great sides and drinks to go along with the meals. read more

Aloha Ramen had a promising start for me. I tried the black garlic ramen and really liked the soup base: it was rich and flavorful. And Service was good. Unfortunately, the pork was disappointing. It wasn't tender and felt undercooked or not prepared properly, which really took away from the overall ramen experience. The broth was good, but the pork needs improvement. read more

This was not a decent place of choice at Kukui Grove for a person like me trying to lose weight and stay healthy! I would say it doesn't even deserve one star! You ask for less sauce and they dump more than you ask for! I will never eat here again and I hope no one else does! Service: 0 stars because they dont listen to you!! read more

I've gotten hooked on ramen in recent weeks thanks to my girlfriend and the ramen restaurants that she knows on Oahu Island. So when I was in Kaua'i recently, I finally decided to give Aloha Ramen inside Kukui Grove Center's food court a try, and the food certainly did not disappoint at all! Service is great, and the portions are wonderful too! I had the Veggie Ramen and Veggie Rolls and they were delicious, nice and hot (of course, had to find ways to cool it down so it could not burn my mouth or tongue so easily!). Aloha Ramen has a wide variety of menu items and dishes at great prices! Nothing too luxurious or fancy, but it's a great value for your money! read more

Decent ramen in a local mall food court. It was tasty, reasonably priced and quick so no complaints here. It's your average run in the mill ramen, nothing that really stood out. Good for quick food court food- more like 3.5 stars . Plenty of tables and seats in a covered pavilion to enjoy our meal. They did have a combo option that came with a mini ramen bowl and some appetizers such as gyoza, mochiko chicken, tempura, etc... the mini ramen wasn't too mini, it was a sufficient size for me and they gave me a lot of noodles so I shared the noodles with the hubs. read more

Aloha Ramen - Lunch time - Asian Fusion Near Me - Līhue, Hawaii

Located in the food court area of an outdoor shopping plaza. They have seating available inside or in the shared outdoor food court space. I ordered the tonkotsu ramen per recommendation of the staff. The ramen comes with ramen noodles, two slices of charsiu, two pieces of seaweed, a naruto fish cake, one marinated egg, bamboo shoots, and green onion. For what it is and where you're getting it, it's not bad. If you have a ramen craving, it might hit the spot. The charsiu pieces were pretty thick and tender and good flavor. The broth isn't super rich and deep so I'd recommend adding some chili oil. read more

Small hole in the wall. There is a small place to order and plenty of seating inside, but mostly outside in a covered food court. The seating is ample and nice. Food was ok. We had a few different food item, including ramen, and everything was just ok and not very memorable. I wanted ramen, but I wish I would have chosen a better place (we were hungry). read more

Aloha ramen right away smells delicious. Good variety of food. I ordered the black garlic oil udon. Udon was good. However the pork in the udon seemed a little burnt or just too over cooked. Bamboo flavor was a little too heavy for me. Next time I would just order without the bamboo and maybe substitute the pork with beef. Overall the soup base and noodles were good. read more

We landed and it took 2 hours to get our car rental. We are hungry, most likely hangry. I'm at the state where any food would taste good because I'm so hungry. Aloha Ramen. Sounds authentic enough, right? Well, the owner was speaking Chinese so it's not a Japanese ramen place. Yet, why did I order Tonkatsu ramen when I know it's not authentic? I was pleasantly surprised. It was better than what I expected. The ramen was a bit on the salty side, but the pork meat was solid. I was hungry and the ramen filled me up. I would come back here in the future, even if I'm hungry. read more

Aloha Ramen is located at the food court, they make decent udon and karaage chicken. You can't really get this at any mall on the mainland, so, it was pretty special to have this offered. Service was good and it came out quickly. Quick is good especially when your hungry! read more

I didn't know food could be that bad. I love ramen, I don't know what I put in my mouth but I'll tell you, it didn't stay there long, and it wasn't ramen. Yikes. read more

My husband and I both got the chicken katsu curry ramen. Needless to say it was so bad it made us sick to our stomach's within the first couple of bites. The chicken had tendons and was chewy, the ramen noodles was like an instant noodle package. The service wasn't bad, she answered all my questions politely. read more

Located in the food court in the mall. We were starving and didn't want to spend time searching for quality food so we ended up here. The service was fast and friendly. Food was as expected for fast food. The croquettes came out really hot and was delicious. The oxtail ramen left something to be desired however. The curry had lot of flavor but not much meat and vegetables; it was mostly sauce. The Katsudon was really bland so the curry sauce came in handy. It's quick meal, but I'd pass next time. read more

I was tired and hungry after a long flight. I asked if they had vegetarian ramen and they said they did. Then I asked if they used MSG and they said they did not. I ordered the vegetarian ramen and when I took a bite, I could taste the MSG. I went back to the same woman and told her I could taste it - she said that there was no MSG but they had used chicken powder! I know that the kind of powder they use has MSG in it. I tossed it in the trash. The place didn't look very clean either. I would never go back. I wish we'd gone to those restaurants by the port. read more

For a small restaurant in the shopping mall, this was pretty good. The broth for the tonkatsu, i would say is creamy but can be creamier. The tan tan noodles, the broth was not rich, wish it were though. It had a kIck to it, both pieces of meat in both were on the tough side. I love the bamboo. The croquette was fluffyyand crispy on the inside. read more

This is a true gem inside a mall area Food court in Kauai. They have exquisite and good varieties of Ramen, and they also have the mainstream favorites available. I can confidently say they have the best Ramen in Kauai island. read more

Aloha Ramen - inside - Asian Fusion Near Me - Līhue, Hawaii

The location of this facility is not visible unless you are at the food court. 1 order of Oxtail Soup and 1 order of Chicken Wakisoba took over 25 minutes wait time. Food tasted good! However, when asking for an extra plate/soup container, I was given attitude and was charged $0.47 for an extra container, and when I needed another container was charged another $0.47. No question food was fresh, hot and had flavor, however, nickel and diming customers for an extra plate, fork, spoon was extreme. Bring your own Tupperware/Fork/Spoon to go, unless you don't mind being nickel and dimed. read more

overall was a good experience for quick ramen. We were trying to find ramen throughout the island but kept getting unlucky so we decided to come here. They made the ramen quick and it was very affordable. I got the Tonkotsu ramen and it was good. I wouldn't say it's anything out of the ordinary, but if you're looking for some ramen, that is quick and affordable, this is the place to go. read more

This is a decent place. The ramen was good but not extraordinary. The chicken fried yakiudon was pretty good but tasted very bad for me. It could have used more vegetables in it. Found a hard piece of meat or something in it that I really wasn't fond of . The miso had a bad flavor. Overall, probably wouldn't go back unless I was mourning the loss of my cat...alone. read more

Lots of choices on the menu. I ordered the charsiu ramen to go. Small shop with seating inside or outside at food court. Had bad experience with staff on 6/16/23. I aske for extra spoon and bowl for my ramen because i could not finish alone so i share with my mom but the male staff ignored me. This wasn't good. We tried the black garlic ramen and it was easily our worst ramen experience ever. The noodles were compatible to the 25 cent packets and they used a black garlic POWDER to season the broth. It didn't dissolve and just floated around the soup and gave it a gritty very unpleasant and unwanted texture. I don't know what they did with their eggs but they had an off taste as well and were essentially hard boiled. The portions were generous but we wanted nothing more than a few bites of this. Very sad sad ramen experience. read more

I've been here twice so far. Both times the food was very tasty. Prices are reasonable. Seating inside contains maybe half a dozen tables or so. The condiment tray could be maintenanced more often. The ramen is really good! We got the shoyu ramen and it was really tasty and had good presentation. It came out pretty fast, but then again it wasn't really that busy. I would definitely recommend this place if you want some ramen or Japanese food because they have a bunch of other food besides ramen. You can take it out into the food court where it will be nice and cool. The egg and pork were delicious and the ramen had a nice chew as well. The people were nice and it was easy to see all of the choices because they have pictures outside on the window with things clearly marked. Overall really great place and would recommend! read more

This was the worst bowl of ramen I've ever had. The broth was super watery and it had a strange fishy taste. It was supposed to be pork based but I couldn't tell at all.
